What makes you think that it was not offside?

I watched the game in real time on TV , I was surprised that the goal wasn't reviewed deeply considering the impact that has in the championship league campaign.

From what I deduced, the referee blowed whistle too quick as soon as he saw the linesman flag up which in my opinion was a wrong decision..

And to be fair to madristas, once the linesman flag was up and referee blew his whistle they sort of gave up on the play and didn't attempt to stop the shot.. so from that perspective.. awarding that goal would have been harsh on Madrid also.

I think it is deliberate to make you lose your guard and then they strike.

Sane I can understand because of how his energy levels drop after about 70mins.
As for Kane, I think it was too early to remove him though I understand his reasoning as well. You want to put extra bodies in the box when Madrid are pouring in the box and playing towards it with the level of aggressiveness on display. Unfortunately it freed Rudiger to join the attack and he ended up decisively paying back the mistake he made for the Bayern goal

The thing is two players are seen to be attacking that ball. That the one who won the ball seems not to be offside to the naked eye does not change the fact that both players attacked the ball. The offside rule is about interfering with play not necessarily touching the ball. If an offside player stays in front of a goalie when the ball is played, he'll be adjudged offside even if he doesn't touch the ball.

How did Rudiger keep them onside? You guys watch football without knowing the rules governing the game yet you keep arguing blindly. Your hands can't keep an opposition player onside because you can't play ball with your hands.

The rule is simple; any part of your body that you can't use to play ball with can't keep an opposition player onside. Rudiger's arm can't keep them onside
