Every sane and well discerning Nigerian can decode that solemn fact. The proposal to reintroduce telecom taxes, including the Electronic Money Transfer (EMT) levy and excise duties on telecom services, is part of a broader strategy to meet the conditions set by the World Bank for a loan of $750 million. These taxes were previously suspended by Tinubu's administration in July 2023, but negotiations with the World Bank have prompted a reconsideration of these fiscal policies. The same imperialist that goaded him on the rash fuel subsidy removal that he has been paying via the back door. 49 Likes 5 Shares |

That is blatant LIE, even we that support Tinubu know the other name for jagban is TAXATION. You can't take multiple taxes away for BAT, but @least we expect an improved economy and not what we are seeing now .. 5 Likes |

Morbeta11: Are there other countries that practice this policy? Are their charges as high as the CBN has recommended? Essentially. It is now more expensive to keep your money in the bank than under pillows even if you consider the risks of armed robbery. |
