Glowee93:Your prolly need send like several mails to get feedbacks. Keep sending , DONT STOP. Hacc is a small section of the home affairs. Emails are rarely replied immediately, unless you keep sending. They have too many to respond to. |

Good Evening house. Pls when is the earliest time a person can apply for a visit visa. I was asking because I want to know if I can apply now for a trip in August 25 since one can’t predict the timelines and I plan to attend a 2 months programme . And given the 3 month visa stipulation if It comes out too early it may expire before the program duration is complete and that may mean missing the program since one needs a valid visa during the stay. I’d really appreciate advice if applying as early as now is advisable thanks |

Yes you applied now cos if you are applying via home affairs but if its vfs july is better quote author=bobodudu100 post=129756201]Good Evening house. Hello everyone, it’s my first time here in SA thread. I want to visit a friend in SA, lives in Pretoria. His South African. I don’t know but I read here how demanding Saa visas could be, I want to stay for about 10 days. Please I wanted to ask if I need to submit my bank statements and letter of employment if I’m applying online. I have about N28M in saving, and I’m thinking of spending about 3M. I’ve been to 3 African countries. Would you recommend I apply through the vfs or I use the Evisa platform. Thank you very much. |

Pls is there is a limit on how early you can apply for Evisa. I was thinking to apply for Evisa for a trip on August 25 but from what I read on the thread for the vfs you are allowed to apply from about 3 months to intended travel time . |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by mekanta7(m): 11:28am On May 04 |
Glowee93: I have applied for 3 EVisas in total within 6 months, 2 was rejected and the last one was granted. Within this 3 applications, i sent a follow-up email each on them all.. It took approximately 2 working days and they all replied, even the second one replied and told me i sent an incorrect Ref numb, i had to send another email and they also replied that I'm still on processing time frame, i should wait for additional 5 working days. The last Evisa that was granted, i sent an email, and they replied within 2 working days, with visa grant after 2 rejections. They always reply my messages. 1 Like |

Please can someone help with the Commision address in Lagos to put on letter of self introduction. I'm seeing two addresses, one in VI and one in Ikoyi, so I'm confused. I don't mind if someone can please share a format of what the address should be like. Thank you. |

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 9:29am On May 06 |
hello. Let your SA national do the following. 1. Write an invitation letter to the home affairs. 2. Attach his id 3. Proof of residence/ house rent receipt or something. This is what you attach to your application. The chances of first timers getting south african visa now is very slim. However, if you ground yourself with the requisite support documents , you will be granted . Goodluck. Finally, all letters should be addressed to the home affairs. Use this format: The Director - General, Department of Home Affairs, Republic of South Africa,230 Johannes Ramokhoase Street, Private Bag X114, Pretoria, 0001, South Africa Jolene474: Make sure you also get a reference letter using same address as above from your bank. Regards |

Thank you very much Hunee. Yes, my invitee is willing to send an invite letter. Please kindly detail further, after I get all necessary documents from him and my bank letter. Will it be required when filling the online form? I mean how to I send it to them? Will I attach it online or I will use the vfs? |

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 11:38pm On May 06 |
Jolene474: I advise you apply for a direct sticker visa at vfs ikate. Just collect all the documents in pdf format from your friend in sa via mail. You can send him the format, but the address in this case will change. he will address embassy in nigeria, not home affairs in pretoria. Please read the information carefully. All you need is letters from your friend now. Please if you want to successfully scale through this, i advise you also read this platform back - back. we have provided sufficient informatiion as regards in the past, kindly do some research. Betterstill, mail vfs for further clarifications or call them Goodmorning 1 Like |

Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by 080bjaked(m): 6:12pm On May 08 |
Marshall6: My advise, don't do any conversion at Lagos airport. Buy PTA for your journey if you can (or buy dollars from parallel market), load some on your dollar card which you can use in SA at card rate or withdraw use to witdraw Rands at an ATM machine. You can then exchange the remaining dollar at a bank branch (Standard bank, FNB, Capitex or ABSA) cos rates are better there. 1 Like 1 Share |

Pls I’d love to ask I had intentions of going for a 2 months visit and last time I had applied for vfs visa they gave me 30days maximum stay. Is there anyway to have a longer time period. I read somewhere on here that one may have a longer time allowance on the Evisa . Pls has any one got info about this . I’d really love to know thanks |
