Good one. A purposeful and productive foreign trip. Not propaganda. Industrial agriculture should be one of the primary investments of any administration followed by supporting infrastructure. That way, infrastructures are designed to support agric businesses and not the other way round. As an aside, I recall when GEJ was mocked for his cassava revolution policy... 1 Like |

osuulola: The Cavista chairman was in Nigeria a few months ago. He is actually based or is frequently in the US. Given the investor profile, the Governor had to travel to meet the other investors so the MOU signing could be fast tracked. |

Why cant the government have their own farms. They can partner or rent the farm to individual to manage it. Giving them target of what to spect from harvest. 2 Likes |

100000 hectares is a lot. How many lands con remain in Southwest second most smallest state? He should copy his kins man and woman - Psaltry International (Oyo) and one other man within the Oyo and Ogun axis. He must process the cassava to at least HPCF or ethanol like the Indians do. There is plenty of money in it. Best wishes! The Farmers would make more money - Bola Ahmed Tinubu 1 Like |

Bullfallo: Government has no business in business. Look at Ajaokuta Steel. Provide the enabling environment, that is all. Socialism leads to poverty and further leads to communism which on its own leads to multidimensional privation. Capitalism is the only economic system that has pulled more people out of poverty that any other economic system. |

This is a Welcome development- if well transformed and Materialize, afterall, Cassava gestation is 7- 9 Months period! Do you know that as at Today,Garri,a product from Cassava is becoming more Costly than Rice in the Market! •Is Garri now Dollarise in Nigeria or the Farmers and Market Women are being mischievous to the Masses? Or how come, the Common man can't breathe again? What's going on? •Is it Tinubu that is doing this too? Cassava don't grow in the Northern States or Water-logged Places or States,so what is wrong with our Southern States that is Producing this Garri? Let's talk Truth to ourselves and our •Traditional Rulers should address this concern! |
