Paraman: Bro tinubu should take off his ego and listen to those that have a better idea. Everybody want Nigeria to succeed but he can't do it in this manner. All these things going on is what people were complaining, shouting yet it looked as if we were stupid. Instead of solving the problem he is adding more to it. I don't know why he relies so much on CBN 3 Likes |

SoNature:I like your point and view. But the problem is that the money gain for the subsidy is not used for anything tangible enough or it is stolen by corrupt people. I remember Jonathan promising to used the subsidy money to build refinery and end up doing nothing. All this contributed in people losing hope on all government 3 Likes |

Before subsidy removal fuel was around 165-200.... After subsidy removal fuel price jumped to 650-700, inflation skyrocketed and naira depreciated massively. Now, fuel price is over N800-1200, the government claims there's no subsidy yet the IMF is screaming that Nigerian government is paying subsidy that will ensure there's zero infrastructural, health and educational development in Nigeria for the next 1-3 years Dear Nigerians, is IMF the enemy of Nigeria or is Tinubu and his cabal of incompetent morons just running Nigeria aground? Helinues and all other government propaganda zombiés on Nairaland please come and defend your government wage and explain this anomaly 7 Likes 1 Share |

Notice how APC supporters just blab? Notice how they are so confused while trying to defend the indefensible? They must admit that BAT caused problems on his Inauguration day. His joy caused him to make the announcement earlier than it could have happened. We are in it. We can see how the same IMF has turned around to pretend like saints? There are issues that must be handled properly. How can one convince BAT and Umahi, along with their blind supporters that the coastal road is not the immediate need of Nigerians. We must see serious actions against terrorist, bandits and land grabbers. We must see serious actions against poverty in the land. The 15 trillion or so, if channeled into the health sector, should deal with medical tourism. We must see action against oil stealing. We must see government uniting citizens. 8 Likes |

Cineinfo: Very simple, internationally, goods and services have fixed prices, that's why you will hear people outside Nigeria telling if you're doing job A, your pay is $x/hour and so on, so there's a fix price to refine a barrel of crude oil to get PMS, there's price for the crude used, the refinary is out for profit, you will pay shipping company to bring it to Nigeria, pay import duty, all these on the PMS and in USD. Also dollar-to-naira exchange rate is known and you're selling the same product at less than $1. Do the maths and see for yourself. 1 Like |

Despite being Africa’s largest oil producer, Nigeria imports most of its gasoline needs because it lacks the refining capacity to meet domestic demand. The hope is that when a 650,000 barrel-a-day oil refinery outside Lagos, owned by Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest person, and one in Port Harcourt, controlled by state-owned Nigeria National Petroleum Co., come fully online that will change. 1 Like

Faiththatworks: Tinubu is not a serious leader, just a useless old man that was too desperate for power without preparation for the weight of leadership. All d so called money dey said dey realized from subsidy removal, why wasn't it channeled into making at least one refinery work? To reduce d effects of subsidy removal. Their main focus now is wasting scarce resources on coastal road that has no short term positive effects on d ailing economy. Same thing buhari did, borrowed money to build railway that rakes in loss. All we have are just stupid leaders, and leaders they say are d reflection of the people. So in other words, Nigerians are stupid people forming intelligence 5 Likes 1 Share |
