My baby, my baby, my baby...

Lol. The guy music rock the airwaves and clubs for Jos that year.

Somehow I hated that song but got used to listening to it due to massive airplay.

Very repetitive lyrics... Only thing I kept hearing was "my baby" grin

Life happens my brother
Those days was fun Sha.

Just getting to know he is from PH now... I always used to think he was from Jos or a northerner because of the way they played that music that year.

These new generation crop of musicians are really enjoying... One hit and you done blow. Unlike the older set who had hits and still struggling to survive!

Some Nigerians!! Very funny and unbelievable people.

A very touching and heart breaking video about a once popular but now very broke and hungry artiste was made. Instead of sympathies or finding ways to help, people are talking about how vino tinto was cheap, how they flexed back in the day ignoring the real purpose of the video angry
wetin u dey talk sef?

When he was enjoying, macking hoes, didn't he think of a time like this? We're not sympathizing shit with him. Laugh now cry later

first am meeting an old school jos guy on nairaland after 13 years in the forum. We in jenta have already concluded that the guy is even a berom guy. From UJ to tudunwada, Tina junction, infact all over jos was like .....man bebe man bebe man bebe man bebe you are the one for me grin grin grin grin. It's so unfortunate sha, in those days the Internet was not so heavily monetised sha, and these days artists (especially the younger one) are coded drug mules and yahoo boys. Even now sef de song don come gum inside my head again.
I sight jtown guys ....me na rukuba army barracks I grow .....them move to jebbu bassa ....for rukuba road to gadbiu to ferin gada to taminus .....josite bye products ....I rep jos anyday anytime ....now I dey ph ...with no single natural environment every where for here na compound or fence ....no single butterfly

How many of you still remember SkyB? He was very popular back in the days. He did songs like 'My Baby' and 'Pray For Me' which became hits and were vibed to by Nigerians both young and old then. There was no party you would attend then, without SkyB's songs not played.

Today, life is no more rosy for the 'My Baby' crooner. He has moved from something to nothing as the Port-Harcourt born artist now lives in abject poverty.

Popular vlogger, Lucky Udu was with him recently as he shared his story of grace to grass.

What a stunning transition... Very surreal.

I NEVER knew this dude back in the day though. He wasn't as popular as Remedies, Plantashun Boiz, the London-based rapper known as AY (Hard to Survive/Eko si London), AY was the first lyrically dope rapper that sang in mixed hardcore Yoruba, English, and Pidgin English back in the late 1990s to the early 2000s, etc.

I hope he (Sky B) gets the needed assistance to blast his personal finances back on track with a good knowledge of financial education.

His songs were released few weeks to valentine's day. It was on everyone's lips that period.

Links hotel was everyone's favourite back then. The money I spent on Vino Tinto in that hotel should be enough to sponsor 6 Nigerian girls in the university now.

Many of you have secondary and primary school teachers that are suffering in poverty now. Focus on helping those ones instead of artistes that frittered away their money

Truth be told… Sky B was a meme musician. He was popular not because his music was good but, because it was a joke. That “Stan” rip off was a sin.
Make him better leave this music path for dem Rhema do something else. I hope he gets the help he needs sha… to open POS business or some other business.
