Nice structures but many of them are unoccupied. So instead of the government to allow most of these houses build mostly by corrupt politicians to lie fallow, why not mortgage it @ subsidized cost to its poor citizens? 9 Likes 1 Share |

I still love River Park estate at Lugbe, close to Dunamis church. I miss that place. The estate is well planned but some of the structures are not occupied. 1 Like |

Lol. If they are now using Abuja to compare the East that means the East is making tremendous progress in real estate. The difference however between Abuja and States in the south east is that most of these high end estates in Abuja are unoccupied indicating high level of inequality unlike in the East where land are bought and developed by owners, indicating a more organic progress. |

Only if them tell you the rent. I know normal rent in wuye for instance is now 3 Mil upwards for 2 - 3 bed |

kaludestiny10: Abuja has been having this issue since. Empty houses occupied by lizards while people are forced to live in maraba, masaka and other far areas. Of course those in govt own those houses so they can't do nothing about it. If not the same US law of squatters claiming empty houses as legal place of living should apply Why not create a deal where you lease the house for a certain number of years to people. Funny thing is an unoccupied house belongs to fall apart. House needs someone to live in it. 1 Like |

Racoon: You mean the same citizens that don’t pay their electricity bills, pay back creditors while owing their landlords 1 year’s rent; those poor citizens should get mortgages? 😂😂😂😂 |

Re: Abuja's Beautiful Estates by NwaliE01: 9:13am On May 14 |
There should be a law to mandate all houses to have at least a tree. This will help help purify our environment, in addition to beautification. |
