Please I'm about to initiate PoF for my kids but need clarification on the calculations. My program started September last year and will be ending this September. When calculating their PoF, will I compute for 9 months or just the remaining months to the end of my program? Then also, should the PoF be in my account or my wife's account? Please note my wife is also here in UK

I just want to encourage someone. My husband had half school fees, but because of a sudden development in the church we were running we had to divert the funds for a long term lease. So that the church can continue to run while we were away, and there was no other alternative. We ended up coming in with zero kobo and the school is a Russel Group, and students who are self paying can come in without school fees deposit.

Total school fees was 27,100 and even though we had housing challenges. I ended up with a good job in 4 weeks.

Long story cut short, in December we got a house with 4 months advance rent. We started paying school fees in January after the first 2000 deposit we made in October I.e. after so much pressure from the School.

Please note that we came in September 2023, and by end of May we will be having about 2300 left to pay as school fees.

My advice is, if you are sure that relocating is God's divine plan. Please relocate.

I have a full-time job which I have not mentioned the salary. But on the average we paid 4000 pounds per month for 4 months. We had no rent to pay in those 4 months because we had paid 4 months in advance in December.

Good day all…my kid bro is 19 and has applied for a school in the UK already…we are about applying for CAS…my question now is “since he’s just 19 can he apply for his visa as a self sponsor?” Or will applying as a self sponsor be a problem considering his age..what do gurus in the house suggest?…this is what is holding us from applying for his CAS

Why can’t one of your parent act as the sponsor because I believe he is going for an undergraduate program.

If he is self sponsored, does he have the entire duration of his studies tuition and living cost in his account?

You both haven't spend up to a year in the UK. I will suggest you compute for the entire program (If your program is less than 1 year). The POF can either be in your name or your your wife. However, will suggest you use the person that's more economically productive. So you can back it up with the person with most payslips....

Bonus Tip, it's important to have the parental consent forms signed by both parents. And also include payslips to proof you have enough to support the kids in the UK.

Also, I always advice people when paying for IHS FEES.

If you can't pay for yourself. Always use someone you know and you can trust.

You can get a refund for your IHS and it is usually refunded back to the card where it comes from. It is usually very very complicated to redirect it to another account. Terms and conditions of the refunds apply!

Am sorry about this unfortunately mail. Soo many are affected in my area presently.

Since u have an experience in health care, I will advise searching in rural areas where no large student concentration is.
More also I will keep an eye on the forums I have if any opportunity comes with sponsorship in healthcare I will update this post.
