A man that can spend 40 Million naira weekly on foreign alcohol is not the kind of person any state needs as a godfather, let alone a third world country like Nigeria.

There aren't senior traditional rulers in Rivers State.

Such unity is not needed.
There is no unity between light and darkness.
Any reconciliation means wike has won, and that is bad for the long term developmental interests of Rivers state.

How uhna dey reason God fatherism as a good thing?

Please keep this yhur advice far....

Keep quiet.. This line stale.. We have seen u use it to support ur political interest.. When patience Jonathan supported wike to be governor against Amaechi, Godfatherism was not bad rather Amaechi was Judas iscariot, when Wike had not said his interest of supporting Tinubu and single handedly picked Fubara it was all ok because u didn't know he will support Tinubu, immediately he didn't support atiku or obi he became evil.. Oshiomole own was Godfatherism that was bad but Obaseki picking his successor and muscling his deputy right to contest.. Where was ur shout of say no to Godfatherism... You can deceive the gullible but ur hypocrisy is clear like day light n guess what nobody will care henceforth about ur Godfatherism cry and wails because people have seen u guys for what u r.. Hypocrites..

The monies at stake for looting is not plenty in Benue, in Rivers it is gargantuan

And Wike needs all that money to add to his FCT stash for executing ThiefNuibu's hideous plan of eliminating opposition at the national level as he has done for Lagos since 1999.

If this is allowed to happen, are we not all finished and completely finished like 20 million smart, educated, sophisticated and exposed plus enlightened (SESEE) Lagosians

You na wiseman. You too much bro.

President Bola Tinubu has pulled the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, out of the Treasury Single Account, TSA, effectively paving way for the Nyesom Wike-led FCTA to utilize the territory’s Internally Generated Revenue IGR for the development of the nation’s capital.

At a news conference Friday in Abuja, Wike also disclosed that the President has approved the creation of the FCT Civil Service Commission to allow for staff career progression.

In the case of Benue, the reconciliation was orchestrated by Tor Tiv. It's very difficult for any Benue politician to go against that seat

I don't think Rivers have a traditional ruler that strong that can bring two political "big heads" together

But Edo has an even stronger traditional ruler.. How come he couldn't reconcile Osho and Obaseki, Obaseki and Shuaibu 🤔 🤔

That feud is making the governor unfocused, distracted.

The elders and traditional rulers can't reconcile them. Wike during his time has embarassingly relegated the traditional rulers as mere puppets. He should first seek their apology for anyway he has been offensive to them

Not even Tinubu has the kind of God complex that Wike has, and a man like Wike will never make concession and without genuine concessions from both parties, there can never be reconciliation.

The feud amongst politicians will affect all what you claim to be worrying about too..
Na the state as a whole go dey more affected at the end of the day..

It will not affect anything. The reason why we keep having this issues in the first place is because most Nigerians are misguided. What the hell is a former governor still fighting for after completing his term of 8 years Do you think all these rubbish we keep tolerating in Nigeria happens in saner climes

Someone like the drunk called Wike ruled Rivers state for good 8 years, yet he wants to keep controlling the governor and by extension the state! That’s the height of greed and selfishness.

That’s why I like Igbos, such stupidity doesn’t happen in the East. You can ask those governors that tried it and how it ended for them.

The reconciliation of Wike and Fubara will bring nothing good to the state, but will rather worsen corruption. The people of Rivers should back Fubara and stone Wike if he dares to bring his stupidity to the state. He already has a task as minister of FCT, something akin to being a governor, yet the greedy drunk is not satisfied.

Spit!

Although I was comparing Benue to River State, let me say that in the case of Edo, it's possible the traditional ruler decided not to interfere... That kind fight wey you go just leave them make them dey beat themselves

...because as you rightly said, Edo has a stronger traditional ruler

God bless you... That's exactly the point I was trying to make... The seat is too strong to be disrespected, and they all know that

That's one of the importance of traditional rulers, not those who have messed themselves up

Rivers people should back Fubara and stone Wike if he dares to bring his nuisance value to the state. That dude with his disgusting behavior irritates me.

You ruled for 8 good years, yet still wants to continue dictating affairs of the state. Is Rivers state a monarchy?

Wike is even supposed to be the “governor” of Abuja yet FCT is not enough for him. Did he bury his umbilical cord in the Brick House

How the hell do we keep tolerating all these rubbish for God’s sake?

COMRADES, below are the photos of the Tor Tiv reconciling SGF Akume and Hyacinth Alia the governor of Benue State after a longstanding feud between the duo, now they are back on track together for the interest and progress of Benue State

However, the case is usually different when it comes to political loggerheads in the Niger Delta. The political scenario displaying itself in Rivers State today, it had displayed itself in the Niger Delta States. Bayelsa State, is between Jonathan and Sylva. Edo State, Oshiomhole vs Obaseki. Rivers State, Ameachi vs Wike. Rivers State, Fubara vs Wike. Akwa Ibom State, Udom vs Akpabio etc. These political actors involved in a messy impasse that they don't say 'Hi' to each other to the extent that they even deleted each others phone numbers from their phones. Some enmity lasted as long as ten years without reconciliation up till date

Let us talk about the political situation in Rivers State today, who do you think suppose to reconcile the warring parties? The elders? The past governors? Or the traditional rulers? Because the president has tried his best in this case, unfortunately it could not work. Why do you think that political misunderstanding in Rivers State is always irreconcilable till infinity?

If this reconciliation does not translate into bringing meaningful infrastructural development, improved social welfare and security, etc, etc, then it is absolutely nothing good for the common good of the common people.

Two politicians who have been at loggerheads hugging each other means they are now friends.

Can't believe someone would push this dumb narrative.

Come back in 3 yrs so we can judge if they are actually reconciled
