When do ibos start living on water?, can they swim?, do they have any history of being fishermen?. Have they ever traded with the European on the sea?, have they ever fought on water?. So why are they claiming the ocean bodies of Bonny and Opobo?.
The kings of Bonny and Opobo bear the ijaw title of Amayanabo. Jaja of Opobo was an ibo slave purchased by ijaw merchants to work as a slave. The nickname Jaja was an ijaw name given to him to embrace him into the royal house. Ibos were captured from the hinterlands and sold as slaves in Bonny, many would then settle after abolishment of slave trade while others migrated to present day bonny.

It's very laughable seeing ibos laying claim to Bonny and Opobo. I have lost count the number of lands they want to grab.

Evolution is thing. Inherited gene is also a thing.

If I am member of your group, I will alway feel depressed about why almost all my people think, talk and act this way.

Even the adults that surprosed to be cautioning you people are not exempted; only a few.

I'm talking about you covetous land grabbers.

They are famous for their dread of Water and being unable to Swim
Even the ones at Onitsha on the River Niger Prefer to be Traders

Do you know that makoko is majorly inhabited by ijaws, anywhere there's water, those people living around and on it. Ibos are regarded as a stone because they can't swim, how can they ever survive in a costal environment?

waited for you to answer my first question but you ran away.
Amayanabo is not an Ijaw title perse. Ijaw word for king is perekule not Amayanabo.

There are even proofs the word has ndoki origin. Again, for the records, Opobo and Bonny people are basically Ndoki Igbos. They speak Igbo and practice Igbo culture. However, riverine people of the nigerdelta be it Igbos, those in Bayelsa, Ibenos, Urhobo etc have a certain way of life peculiar to them such answering European names. Opobo and Bonny are not exceptions but that does not diminish their Igboness.

I am currently watching governor Fubara of Rivers state commissioning a road and a Kalabari leader who called the Governor an Ijaw man had to interpret the Kalabari language to governor in English. Lol

They dread water like.. that's why they call them a stone. they don't settle near water, they are traditionally farmers who settled in the hinterlands to survive on subsistence farming. they have never been fishermen. But in the 21st century, they suddenly love coastal water.

I said a few tribes, i didn't limit it to only ijaw. And there's no ocean/sea in the north. Those rivers are just a few feet deep.

Igbos venture into anything they want and anytime they want.

Suddenly Igbos are now farmersπŸ˜‚.

I now imagine where the insult that Igbos can't feed themselves come from πŸ˜‚

From farmers, they became traders and if they want to become fishermen, they will and comfortably do it.

You guys mocked them that they don't know how to play politics, Obi came out and you guys started shitting in your pants. That's the essence of evolution.

You want them to drown?

An early 20th century picture of an Ijaw man (wearing hat), and his nude Ibo sl*ves.

The man's kids are clothed while his slaves are nude. Only item of clothing are the few ichafu, piece of cloth to cover the loin area, and the Ibo ankle bracelets.

If ibos could swim, they could have swum to a safe place and escaped the ibo landing that claimed their lives at Dunbar creek during the slave era.
