opeyemi2012: Partly yes.. from experience in a sector where safety is constantly emphasized. Sadly in Nigeria, general safery is not considered a priority even in our day to day lives, an example is the nollywood actor who boarded the boat without a life jacket. 2 Likes |

AbuAeesha: I can only communicate to them via the medium I have. And most definitely through the medium the message came to me. Also be reminded that the government is struggling to approve a minimum living wage of #615,000 for me. How do you expect me to do an expansive outreach to them with a slave pay of #30,000? Going to fight a fire without proper training and adequately equipped is like signing automatic death warrant. I can conduct a refresher (both basic and advanced) training for the fire fighting department if the government will seek my services. That they may be lucky today doesn't mean they will be lucky tomorrow. 1 Like |

Tap0lane: We have been so polarized by politicians that we engaged in tribal sentiments. Any little truth, we will simply colour it with tribalism. I won't join you in such discussion. And just so you know, I'm yoruba. I base here in Lagos and my name is Olufemi. The FM in my ID should have given you a clue. Change your ways! 1 Like |

yewit37486:You are very correct. Petroleum, Construction and some of the big players in the manufacturing industry are the major sectors in Nigeria where safety is emphasized. Every sector treats it with levity. You are very correct about Junior Pope's death.......we must think safety always not only when it is convenient for us. Cheers bro 1 Like 1 Share |
