Signing to work with them for 2yrs is called signing a bond. They train you on a job inline with the role they employed you and you expect them to release you to work elsewhere just like that? In most cases, the staff is on probation for 6months, while he decide if to sign the bond with them or not.

To get a place in the Broadcast sector, I strongly believe you'd stand a great chance with a Certification Course from the F.R.C.N Training School, located around G.R.A Ikeja.

I presume the name has changed now.

Well, I did my internship at Lagos Television in 2011. I had worked on the Campus Radio back in school.

I had applied for a role at WE TV around 2014. That was when I knew the relevance of the Certificate.

Most Media outlets, especially Broadcast category would expect you possess the requisite skills and exposure the training offers. There are various courses you'd undergo at the school; from Presentation, Production as well as Editing. The training is usually practical. We are in Nigeria. These Media houses respect that certificate.

From my observation, the training gives you leverage to be considered for a job within the Broadcast sector. Similar to the edge a CIPM certificate gives someone on the career path of Human Resources.

Well, I no longer have idea of the associated fees. Way back, course duration was six (6) months. I'm no longer current with their operations.
