azadus18: But a millitaru personnel can misbehave in public with their dirty attitude forming gods. I propose the public should beat any military personnel misbehaving! Let the public beats sense into them all day everyday. It is sad nobody is asking what the military personnel did for that kind of reaction! People should respect each others space in public military or not! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Such a useless country. The ones that came back, should be fired and jailed; In a sane country, like the great region of Africa, those that beat or cheated anybody will be arrested if proven guilty, regardless of the victim's occupation. In America, Canada, Australia, Europe, the army don't have to prove anything when their barracks is not under attack in their country. Even at that, their army police will be in charge of crime and threat in their barracks. The sham forces have succeeded in making the Nigerian people think they are lower humans than them. They can scatter anything at anytime. 4 Likes |

Bullies. They like flaunting uniform to intimidate so called "bloody" civilians. Imagine soldiers wey no get 10k for account dey suffocate people. In decent countries you will hardly see a soldier in uniform outside the barracks. 6 Likes |

Available9:Daft people won't understand you. They are totally used to such human right abuses. It is even better if the soldiers reported to police and the police were the one harassing people since it would just be a case of police unprofessionalism since all such civil matters are handled by the police in any developed country. But for soldiers to start taking laws into their own hands against civilians will lead to anarchy. If just 10% of Nigerian civilians decides to go on rampage even without arms, no military in Africa can stand them. 6 Likes |

Ibo traders should relocate their shops to their vilages in the south east as many of them are not fit to be traders. Soldiers brought a faulty phone back and instead of them to replace it they beat up uniformed men. 2 Likes |

jubrilELsudan:You will have a gun and the soldiers have same. The soldiers will have fun trucks and u will have non, they will have unlimited bullets but yours is counted. They will have armoured personnel carriers and tanks and you will only still have your gun. The soldiers will have assault copters and planes but you will have none. Lastly they still have bombs. You will still be no match, check how it happens In US with all their weapons which the citizens have. The govt will always win. 8 Likes |

Nigeria needs to transition into gunless police like they have in UK and in some parts of Africa like Botswana. This abuse of power by those in authority is too much in this country. |

VinnyBaba: ^^^ This isn't true. They have always been this way. You mentioned Obasanjo. In his first coming over 40 years ago, soldiers went to kalakuta republic because Fela Kuti criticised Obasanjo in a song and...you know the rest. This is all so shameful because there are real threats in Nigeria's forests, mountains, caves and highways. Those threats have not been taken care of by men who are being paid to do so. Instead, we have this nonsense in Banex Plaza - one more example of the nonsense soldiers have been involved in for over 40 years. Rubbish. 1 Like |
