Despite his condition Where is not yours is not yours.....the owners know so, the settlers know so (but chose to massage their own ego). They can decide at anytime to make a law that will see you out of their country whenever they feel like, if they can do it to fellow Europeans, then it could be done to Africans. May God Almighty help him find a suitable abode 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Imagine. Ajo ko dabi ile....remembering sound sultan song. Denial of citizenship, green card and deportation shouldn't be a word used in Nigerian citizens in any part of the world. But when you have controversial leaders, with mind riddled with corruption and crime at the helms, don't expect other countries to treat our citizens well. Its an insult. Over 170 Nigerians were deported from Germany last year alone with loads of asylum seekers in Canada awaiting deportation when they didn't commit any crime. This is to every diaspora Nigerian, that place isn't your home. Don't dull yourself. As you're in that place, try and invest home cos of old age or aby eventuality. Have properties, invest in shares here. Do not spend everything on frivolities. They've been there before you came and will remain there after you're gone. Live as if something could threaten your status tomorrow. Even your citizenship has some conditions attached. To all the Google finders and searchers, please look for where a south African, morrocan, libyan, angolan, or Beninnese at our back yard had been threatened with deportation without committing any crime before ,.oya I'm waiting 10 Likes 1 Share |

This guy went to the UK in 1986 and for 38years he was rigmarolling and did not bother to organise his life and get proper accommodation. Why would a normal person prefer to be squatting and 'crashing' on friend's sofas for 38years?! I really can't say I blame the UK government if they decide to deport him 18 Likes 2 Shares |

SSpeter:"The Guardian also reported on the case of Nelson Shardey, 74, a newsagent from Merseyside who has lived in the UK since 1977 and was refused indefinite leave to remain by the Home Office despite being in the country for most of his adult life." A Home Office spokesperson said: “Applications have to be considered on their individual merits in accordance with the immigration rules with the responsibility on applicants to demonstrate they meet these rules.” There're many of these UK Home Office cases. Folks have to learn to think ahead by getting financial education and get their lives put together. One MAJOR health issue such as the debilitating stroke or cancer can send your finances spinning out of control. Most of all, never ignore interactions with your closest family members. 10 Likes 2 Shares |
