Then how do you expect to live and work in those countries if you cannot speak the language ? |

@poster both countries are fairly similar and very close so moving from one to the next if you dont feel comfortable with either one should be your option. go to Poland and check the place out for a few weeks then go to CZ and do the same thing. . . . . . . . then decide for yourself which one you feel is the best. - which city in either country you mentioned will you go to? - what are you expectations in term of living, schooling and working? - you have "admission", what does that mean? |

Czech republic is great, i could really imagine to live there. Of course it is also very touristic , but it is understandable. Lots of people know about the beauty of Prague, but not so many people know that around the city there is also a lot to see. Another less known fact - you need a vignette https://vignetteczech.eu for the highway. |

HappyMangle: But labour is cheaper there but there are jobs; just that the country prioritizes her citizens ahead of people from 3rd-world countries when it comes to job. Poland pays a little higher than Czech but, lately, Ukrainians are considered firstly for most jobs before you. But don’t forget that destiny too can come to play o. You could be lucky in either of the countries to get job and settle down quickly. When it comes to getting the visa, your chances are slimmer in Czech than in Poland, except if you are going for PhD in Czech. |

Is visa for Czech Republic hard to get even for undergraduate courses? VanuatuWycombe: |
Re: Life In Czech Republic by VanuatuWycombe: 7:49pm On May 27 |
haywhizzz: Yes. They have quota for WHOEVER is applying from Nigeria and the quota includes those of government official trips. They put it on their website, if you can check it thoroughly. The last I read there was for 60 people on a year. You can hardly see our undergrads getting their visas. Very rare. Only PhDs could get it. I have gotten admission and all documentation at University of Economics, Prague one year like that, even with free accommodation then, and a kind of visa assistance from the university. I didn’t eventually pursue it because of the rigor of some ‘nostrification’, legalization, translation of documents etc and majorly the slimmer chance of getting it. You can count number of Nigerians undergraduate and postgrads (MSc) who get study visa from Nigeria to Czech. They can’t be up to 20 in a year because most of the slots are reserved for PhD students and government trips. You find out more from Nigerians studying there. Any small error on your visa application, na straight denial. |
