These entire problems started with the creation of islam in the 7th century

I agree with your points, but my reference for the peaceful co-existence was between the 1st and early 7th century.

The jews and christians had minor skirmishes then after the advent of christianity in the 1st century, but they were essentially living peacefully across the region.
The Arabs then were predominantly polytheists and pagans and had no problems with anyone.
The major religious wars started in the 7th century with the arrival of islam.
It needed to be spread quickly through wars and coercion and that changed a lot of things.
