keycash:I was at vfs Abuja yesterday and I saw agents dragging people to come and pay for appointment. 400k for an appointment and it takes one month or so. Corruption has reached everywhere and everything in this country. Let’s just wait for update on the vfs website |

Re: Portugal Job Seekers Visa by ihavesense: 6:36pm On May 19 |
Wittyglam:It’s quite pathetic. But I think it’s only a matter of time before one gets appointment. Another agent was saying 250k. Note that this is just to get appointment, doesn’t mean any form of assurance of getting the visa. Plus, when you get to Portugal, you have to look for a job within six months. |
Re: Portugal Job Seekers Visa by workpc: 12:21am On May 20 |
You people blame agents for everything! before you talk too far now, someone will come under my comment and be asking me nasty questions, am i an agent? How about the people working inside the system? They are saints? The embassy staffs, the people on the portal. Alot of you forget that these are the actual ones selling the slots to the highest bidders. And for a fact, those people inside even take a larger share most of the times. Do not be suprised, out of 250k, agent may only see 50k. Most agents make alot of monies, when a job is bulky. How much agent dey see? Everything agent agent! It is high time you guys start channeling your anger to the embassy's themselves. They are the reason why you can not get appointment! Na them dey sell slots give agents and tell them when portal go open. Make una let agent rest! |

Re: Portugal Job Seekers Visa by Eb1234: 4:41pm On May 21 |
Marvis20: Booking.com |
Re: Portugal Job Seekers Visa by StefnieAnu: 5:27pm On May 21 |
Marvis20: You can try bookings.com Put in the area you intend to stay, look for accommodation in that area be it a guest house or hostel or hotel, depending on your account balance too. Also search for accommodation that allows a long duration for cancellation. Please don’t make payment ahead and also, don’t pick an accommodation that doesn’t allow cancellation. You will need to input your card details, but it’s fine, they won’t charge you until the stipulated date they put (please check the date to be sure it’s good enough for you) then once you book, you can download the booking and print and submit with your other documents at vfs. Hope this was helpful 1 Like |
Re: Portugal Job Seekers Visa by StefnieAnu: 6:07pm On May 21 |
StefnieAnu: Actually, these guys are very funny... paying online is 18k for lagos and 33k for Abuja but when you get to their centers, they will still charge you extra... i think the real amount is like 44k or 45k or so |
