Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by VanuatuWycombe: 9:26pm On May 21 |
bimsbabe: It’s good people include Travel Health Insurance bought from Europe even ahead of the trip than buying insurance after it has been granted. This increases applicants’ chances but they don’t know. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Zoey1: 9:35pm On May 21 |
You can’t submit your documents without including a health insurance, there is no choice here. VanuatuWycombe: |

Zoey1: I said he should buy the one from Europe insurer. It enhances your chances of getting it. |

Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Zoey1: 10:00pm On May 21 |
Buying an Europe insurance after it has been granted you said? Why are you conflicting issues? How can something bought after visa is granted increase the chance of getting same visa? 1. Europe insurance won’t improve any chance. 2. You can’t buy insurance after visa is granted. VanuatuWycombe: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by VanuatuWycombe: 10:27pm On May 21 |
Zoey1: Before you apply, buy cheap health insurance. It enhances your chances. I repeat. I am not saying after getting the visa. Experts in this field can testify to what I just said. I have lived longer in Europe and I have been into visa stuff for a while. Assuming you have used Nigerian insurer when applying, you can also go ahead and buy that of Europe, if you truly want to insure yourself throughout your stay. No Nigerian insurer will honor bills drawn on them for treatment carried out on a traveler abroad. Lots of those policies we buy in Nigeria are fake. |

Speak for yourself, don’t generalize. Do you know about verifying policies? VanuatuWycombe: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by VanuatuWycombe: 5:57am On May 22 |
Zoey1: Yes. I do. My assertions apply to nearly everybody applying for both short and long stay visas. I don’t pray you have health challenges while in Europe on a visit. That’s when you would know that Nigerian health insurance is a just a piece of paper. It is good to buy insurance from insurers in the country you are visiting. This is easily verifiable by the visa officer handling your case and it gives the visa officer handling your application that conviction that you are ‘truly’ a genuine applicant/traveler. This forum is for all to learn from each other. There are learnings I could pick from your opinion and vise-versa. When you don’t agree with someone’s opinion, be polite with your own opinion and not rush to quickly type anything. Do a fact-finding, before you reply. There are a lot of things applicants so wrongly which make them get refused of visas they are applying for. Visa officers are psychologically trained. Applicants shouldn’t just tick the box of documents requirements of a visa application. A lot is still checked and considered when an applicant’s file is being treated. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Zoey1: 7:10am On May 22 |
Stick to the main point of view. 1. Buying Euro insurance improves no chance of getting visa. 2. You can’t buy insurance after visa is issued for an already issued visa . That would be my last on this because you are just trying to put an unstructured defense. VanuatuWycombe: |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by VanuatuWycombe: 7:29am On May 22 |
Zoey1: You can buy euro health insurance after visa has been issued. Add that to your pool of knowledge. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Zoey1: 7:51am On May 22 |
Understanding probably eludes you.. So stay on Nairaland and be spewing gibberish. You can buy but it won’t improve your chance of getting a visa because the visa has already been issued and you can no longer add it to that application. If you like buy €1,000,000 insurance from Ergo, an embassy that will reject your application will still do. I have better things to do on a Wednesday morning than schooling a closed mind. People are still worried about the increase in the application fee from €80 to €90 starting on June 11th then you are here telling to buy a foreign insurance for a visit visa . Buy for them Darocha. Hello, Please is there anyone who had booked online tours from Viators, Getyourguide.. They aren’t accepting the Mastercards I used both USD and Naira. What cards did anyone who had done before used? Thank you. |

Passports picked up. But there’s variation on expiry dates. I, the mum was issued 5yrs visa while 2 of my kids were issued 3yrs visa each. But my last child who is 3yrs old was issued only 2yrs visa. Is this normal? I intend to write to the embassy incase it was an error. Any input? Meanwhile this is our second Schengen visa. First time was 1yrs for all of us. Blessedsteph: 1 Like |
