This is one of the reasons why a properly funded independent federal and state policing structure should be an immediate priority to ensure the army goes back to their barracks until they are called or instructed to secure our territorial integrity not to function as an alternate to civilian policing!

In saner climes,no matter who is at fault,the army should have reported the matter to the police who would have carried out investigations and punish those who need to be punished while compensating the victim!

In naija,the military feels they can do anything including shutting down a business premise!

It's surprising that for 4 days,the IGP has not taken control of the incident!

Please you have to be fair enough while giving reports,there are pictures showing how soldiers were humiliating civilians while there is no pictures to show how civilians were dealing mercilessly with soldiers,
Coming to lady in coma there is a proverb that says charity begins at home,I hope the lady in question can see clearly and her instincts can't tell her the right path to take while the road is seriously annoyed with the miscreants in the land that caused trouble . Imagine one werey babe way plait rainbow colour for her dirty hair wan go call her army bf because the lady she wan buy fish from refused to reduce to her asking price and it led to a back and forth!
The shocking part was that this stupid army bf showed up with some of his colleagues and dragged the fish seller into their vehicle and left!

You leave the important part of the story, you start to paraphrase another thing. Slapping anyone by any Agency is an assault on its own and taking her away is another major issue. Comatose or no comatose is irrelevant.

If you watched the video of the soldiers being beaten you will pity them. If they were not strong they would have killed those men with the beating. That was almost lynching. I'm sure those soldiers will be in hospital or badly injured. That beating was pro Max beating. Those were not thugs but the normal boys who work and hang around the shopping complex. Sanity must return to that complex. That barbaric behaviour that takes place in Lagos markets or Onitsha market or Kogi must not be allowed to continue and must come to n end. Be it soldier or civilian no one should be treated like that.

Yes, I was raised in an oppressive society in the USA since I was a teenager.
Your zero IQ skull should have told you that my write-up was in regards to the claim that she's comatose and had nothing to do with the reason why she was slapped in the first place. These are the kinds of questions people in society like the US will as journalists.
You cannot lie or make up facts in your stories even when you are reporting a bad person. You then become as guilty as the accused if you assume instead of simply stating the facts.
