Surprised this is the first i'm hearing of this massive ceramics factory in Enugu, and it's been operational now for two years! They've even built a 15 megawatts coal-powered power plant to guarantee uninterrupted production. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvOWYkBzs1o?si=KNqARzhHeD5gRP3L 5 Likes |

To those of you that have been calling "Nkanu people"on this group, make no mistake, our silence so far is not a sign of cowardice. If you want to attack the Governor, attack him and leave Nkanu people alone. The three senatorial Zone will and have had their turn. And be rest assured that a governor from Nkanu extraction can never be the worst governor Enugu will produce. Keep your clannishness to yourself self, this is a public space. From all indications this government will do better than the last administration. Healthy oppositions are welcome but anyone trying to divide Enugu along Clannish line will be totally annihilated. Nkanu-land will continue to be the most developed part of Enugu state these was because the people were friendly and homely. No location will play host to the University of Nigeria and still looks like Nsukka and it environ after 64years!! |

Localemperor:Nsukka is the still the 2nd urbanized Area to after enugu city. With everything that Chiboy took to agbani, agbani is still yet to experience any form of development. No bank in the entire agbani just one or two banks inside esut. 6 Likes 1 Share |

oilykid:Do you think Nkanu-land ends in Nkanu East and Nkanu West? Who owns Enugu City? Na Nsukka People ? Lol you have clearly not been to Agbani before? The FCMB at Ake market and the Union Bank after market is what? They are cooperatives abi? |

Localemperor:And Enugu city was developed by nkanu people?? Agbani is nothing but a dead town once esut goes on break. After after everything Chiboy took there, the town have refused to develop even being very near to enugu city. 6 Likes |

Localemperor: I know your type but I am even ready to go down to your level but I just want to correct some misinformation for the sake of history. Nsukka is not a university town. It's economy has little to do with UNN. So, with or without UNN, Nsukka will be developing. Nsukka town is host to four big markets (Ogige, Building Materials, Timber and Ikpa Commodity Market). Nsukka has over 50 hotel hotels and at least 10 of them are three stars. It is a critical commercial backbone for agro-commerce linking SE, SS to the NC and beyond. I don't think there is any Non state capital that Nsukka will not give a match for its money and if you think I am lying ask your real estate agent the price of land in Nsukka outskirts (not the town ooo because....) 6 Likes 1 Share |

Localemperor: Before Peter Mba, there was a certain Chimaroke Nnamani, a now narcissistic degenerate whose reign of terror in Enugu was stuff of legends. He was the worst Enugu State governor of all time before Mba's one year of do-nothingness posed a potent challenge. If your ronu-style grandstanding serves to impress, intimidate, or parry criticisms of Mba's towering malfeasance, then better put on your best armour and step out to the front as a proud clan warrior because your tough talk has achieved nothing so far. As long as Peter Mba remains the governor of Enugu State, we will continue to put his feet through fire like a sacrificial fowl. His inglorious feat at the polls is enough to condemn him to infamy; and the fact that sentimental sods like you could attempt to shout down criticisms of his cluelessness with threats and bigoted innuendos makes his agenda look all the more sinister. 4 Likes 1 Share |

OnyeAshuaUru:Lol... Cry cry.... If you like criticize Peter Mbah, he is in Public service and can't run away from criticism. But one thing you can't take away from him is his stride to do well as governor. God willing, we would be here and all would see and score him in 4 years.. anything you decides to say with your running nose leave Nkanu People out it. 1 Like |

Make una calm down abeg. Development is not a tea party. Demolishing markets, properties is painful, especially looking at the economic situation of the country but we have to make a decisive plan to develop our city. The terminals and brt scheme is not a bad idea if they can implement it properly. 1 Like |

oilykid:Even with contributions from outsiders Nsukka has refused to develop. You talk about Agbani not having any Banks and when that was debunked, you're now shifting goal post. Do you know that Agbani is also a host town to Nigeria Law school? (The only Law school in Eastern Nigeria) go and price a plot of land in Agbani ... I can bet you have not been to Agbani. And mind you Agbani is not the only place in Nkanu when you decides to talk about development. Development only comes to those who are ready to contain the vices that with it. Nkanu people did not develop Enugu City alone but they sold their lands, Government took some, they harbor strangers and allow local business to strive. |

Digitron:You should be ashamed of your self, Nsukka popularity was as a result of UNN. Nsukka is a glorified village without UNN. Enugu North can never come close to Enugu east senatorial district in term of development. You guys are way behind. Your brother had his turn, he used it to eat draw soup. When Guruguru was under performing did anyone insult Nsukka people? Peter Mba is just one year in and you guys are calling Nkanu people. |

igwebuike01:You do not think of illogicallity when you were associating Mbah's rule to Nkanu People you fool. Channel all your grievance to your brother who was there before Mbah.. it is not our fault that Nsukka has continue to tap from the goodwill of UNN and has never been spoken off without UNN been part of the discussion after 64 years. Nsukka will continue to be an eldorado to the people of Enugu North. |

igwebuike01:What is Old Eastern regional Capital is not what it is today, Nkanu land has expanded beyond what is known to be capital of the old Eastern region. List the part of the Nkanu hinterland that is not doing well in terms of development. Weather you like it or not, despite it status as Enugu capital and city, the land still belongs to Nkanu people. |
