OkpaNsukkaisBae: Okpa being suckered by a clout chasing 'activist'. Our favorite maga being suckered again One of the only benefits of the gej years is that they showed most of the so called activists for what they actually are The entire mend cashed out and started taking protection money and still continued to vandalize pipelines. And who were the no1 buyers of stolen oil? Okpas love the russians For the past six years port Harcourt has been full of soot and future respiratory disease. No activists are saying anything. Once upon a time people were swayed by allegeations of oil companies malfeasance. But we have all seen too much and know what's up. No be oil companies dey vandalise pipeline No be oyel companies dey do kpofire No be oil companies dey steal oil That is all local 4 Likes |

obainojazz: Most of Okpas takes are funny and sometimes ridiculous . I asked him why people residing in the west must come back to hold Oil and gas companies for blokus he no gree answer . I don’t even think he knows what happens in some of those communities . Someone narrated to me an incident that happened in one of the host communities . The members of the communities who are majority of the casual workers of the company decided to down tools while protesting unfair conditions of service . They grounded operations and vowed nothing will happen except their conditions were met. They invited their senator representing their constituency at the National Assembly to be in solidarity with them (because he’s from the host community ) When the man came with his security escorts, the top management of the company invited him for a dialogue and the people were in high hopes thinking the man is going to stand on business. Guess what ? nobody knows what was offered this man in the close door meeting with the management but when he came back to meet the protesting workers, he threatened them and chided them for being bad hosts by grounding the business of their employers. The workers angrily pelted him with pure water and he had to be whisked away by his security guys . That was the end of that protest . Some of the leaders of the protest were punished by management and it took the intervention of the union to have them not sacked sef. That’s the Nigeria we live in where one person will greedily lap at the offer of these oil companies while the rest of the people suffer for it. |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:44pm On May 23 |
GloriousGbola: Abi. There’s no way those oil companies (particularly the international ones ) will mess things up in the Niger Delta if Nigerian government don’t enable them. Shebi they operate in other countries and they do things in a more reasonable manner . Our own people and government no like us, we now want strange businessmen to show us excess love . 1 Like |

This Kano state governor really mean to 4ck the dethroned Emir up o. This is giving the feeling of a military head of state who was sacked by a coup while he’s out of the country ( similar to the coup that sack Gowon) Imagine not allowing him to even return to Kano to pack his load from the palace and his security escorts withdrawn while he’s in Abuja 😳 https://www.nairaland.com/8102699/deposed-emir-aminu-bayeros-convoy |

Itsrm: Na why I no Dey take Nigerians based abroad serious with their fake patriotism and gaslighting when they say everybody is feeling it and Tinubu is on the right path . Person wey no Dey here Dey experience these things first hand won’t understand how bad things have gotten . I saw the video of a cab guy dragging the steering of his car with the policeman earlier today . Most people were saying even though the policeman was wrong to be dragging the steering with the cab guy, the cab guy too should not have been risking his life , his passenger and the policeman . What most people don’t know is that the cab guy has zeroed his mind . He was ready to end it all and would rather take take the policeman with him than follow him to station where he will be extorted . A lot of people are going crazy silently with everything that’s happening in the economy . People are losing their heads. And like the author of those tweets said , the government is sitting on a keg of gunpowder . 2 Likes |

The situation at the moment is critical. |
