We have forced them to start at Calabar and Akwa ibom. It was never their initial plan, otherwise they would have said it since the pressure was mounted on them. Now let's see what they've got. 70 Likes 5 Shares |

EmeeNaka:If only you had paid attention instead of listening to gbajue propaganda in your echo chambers. It was stated weeks ago before the governors conference or obong of calabar's speech that phase 3 will start from Calabar in July. Now they are starting weeks earlier which is even better. This was likely brought forward to shutdown naysayers like yourself. https://nairametrics.com/2024/04/12/umahi-sets-eight-year-timeline-for-lagos-calabar-coastal-highway-completion/ 111 Likes 8 Shares

“And for those who have been saying why not start these roads in Calabar, one, the zero point is Lagos and what wrong has Lagos done to these people? Thank you Mr. President for being such an impartial and understanding leader. Your sincerity of purpose and nationalistic approach to every issue is inspiring. We need more leaders to be this altruistic instead of being selfish, bitter and viewing every issue from political prism like the Gbajue man. 116 Likes 5 Shares |

Ofunaofu: Yes, I’m irredeemably patriotic and optimistic of a better Nigeria while you’re an irredeemably bitter and pessimistic person who don’t want to hear good news about the country simply because a useless Peter Obi lost the election. 115 Likes 10 Shares |

Asiwaju, Revolutionize Nigeria's oil industry and ensure that all citizens benefit, we should consider privatizing the midstream sector—the part that handles transportation of oil from point A to point B. Here’s how this can work: Privatize the Midstream Sector: By privatizing the transportation part of the oil industry, we can ensure a steady revenue stream. This sector will operate on a contractual basis, earning money by moving oil from upstream producers (those who extract oil) to downstream businesses (those who refine and sell oil products). Elites already Control of OML and OPL: Allow the elites to manage the Oil Mining Leases (OML) and Oil Prospecting Licenses (OPL). This will ensure efficient and specialized management of the oil extraction process. Public Investment and Dividends: Enable ordinary Nigerians to invest in the midstream sector. By owning shares, citizens can receive dividends, which are regular payments from the profits. This means the wealth generated by our oil resources can be distributed more evenly among the population. Reduce Insecurity and Corruption: When the pipelines are owned by the people, there will be less vandalization and corruption. Everyone will have a stake in ensuring the security and efficiency of the oil transportation network. Successful Models: We can look at successful examples from around the world like Energy Transfer (ET), Enterprise Products Partners (EPD), Kinder Morgan (KMI), and Enbridge. These companies have shown that a privatized midstream sector can be highly profitable and efficient. By adopting this approach, we can improve wealth distribution, reduce corruption and insecurity, and ensure that every Nigerian benefits from our country’s rich oil resources. 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Ok. Too much noise ( hype & criticism) about the coastal highway. I hope this government finishes the project within this first tenure because 2nd tenure dey God hand. Just like Atiku, the whole secrecy leading to the bidding, commencement of the project is what we criticise. But we know the project will be beneficial to all Nigerians Mostly the ones (Obi and obidients) that see no good about the project. 4 Likes |
