A former soldier of the Ukrainian army near Donetsk surrendered to Russian troops. He arrived at the indicated place on a T-64 tank stolen from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, DPR security forces told TASS.

British Labor leader Keir Starmer has said he wants to recognize a Palestinian state, saying “it is extremely important,” but adds that “recognition must be part of the solution process. There are all kinds of difficulties and problems. I absolutely believe in it."

⚡Ukrainian military intelligence was directly involved in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall — FSB

Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov has said that the investigation into the attacks is ongoing, but it has been established that Ukrainian intelligence is directly involved.

⚡Russia's Defence Ministry announced that its forces have taken control of Andriivka, southwest of Bakhmut in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region.

Ukrainian General Staff reported ongoing efforts to repel three Russian assaults in the area of Andriivka and Novyi.

Andriivka was previously recaptured by Ukrainian troops last September during a counteroffensive.

⚡Japan and South Korea on Friday announced separate sanctions packages targeting companies, vessels, or individuals allegedly involved in supplying North Korean weapons to Russia for use in Ukraine, in violation of UN resolutions.

South Korea accuses Pyongyang of sending thousands of containers of munitions to Russia, and experts have said Pyongyang’s recent testing spree may be of weapons destined for use on battlefields in Ukraine.

In August, the US Treasury Department imposed similar sanctions as it said Russia was using up munitions and losing heavy equipment in Ukraine — forcing Moscow to turn to its few allies, including Pyongyang, for support.
