Learning tech or going to school
Pressure from my unbelieving parents so I'll be the first in the entire family to be a graduate was high
I loved preaching and was encouraged to do tech if I wanted to and I'll be able to have time to preach more. I told my Witness Aunt 'Governing body is not my father to tell me what I should do with my life'. I regret it all now. My friends opted to learn a trade and they're preaching more and doing well in their business. School really affected me financially and spiritually. I have my spiritual goals but university education and that path won't allow me. But Jehovah appreciates those who makes sacrifices for the sake of his kingdom and many are counting their blessings

Of course! Whatever their leaders say is Law! Haven't you seen it in their responses? Rutherford who liked to be addressed as Judge Rutherford was their former President and he dictated their rules and Prophecies at that time. One thing you should know about JW is : Whoever becomes the leader dictates their rules and Doctrines! When Charles Taze Russell died, Rutherford took over by force like a typical Politician crazy for power and riches ( To show you the Politics that goes on in JW) and changed so many things. Back in Charles Taze Russell time, JW Men were free to wear Beards as long as his own. When he died, Rutherford came to enforce No Beard because he never liked Charles Taze Russell and needed his followers to look more like himself than Charles.
