The most unhealthy bread out there.
60% sugar.
I will rather buy agege than this.
Twice I bought it, nobody ate it. Even kids complained it's just sugar.
How does that prevent it from being my favourite?

Exactly.

I don't want to think the quality will be shitty; I believe it'll be worth the price. And it's looks like a brand [luxury] name, meant to cater to the egos of "vain" people (like me for instance grin).
It is beautiful nonsense.
Costly cos it's abroad brand.
Nothing more.
As u eat it,your mind will be telling you that you are digging your grave but you wanna belong, so you will guiltily finish it.

Just tithe the bread, it will multiply & you’ll be tired of eating it. You will have to give it out because it will refuse to finish.

I will never get tired of eating bread I bought with my sweat for 20k

Baba, 20k can comfortably give you five pots of different soups grin

20k can't give you five different pot of soups. Bruv this is Tinubu's 2024 not 2019. That amount can't get you more than two pots of soup, unless you're talking about some low quality soups without adequate fillings.

See, some products are flown into the country daily and supplied to high end exclusive supermarkets, restaurants, personal orders. Do you know, cheese, ice cream, salad, salmon, ham, bacon, already prepared meals from high end restaurants in eg France, pizza made to order from Italy delivered to people here in naija?
This bread could have baked in France in the morning then flown to naija and on the shelf that evening.
I know all this because I have been approached few years ago by some Lebanese to arrange logistics for such cargo. I have even delivered some to some exclusive white only estate somewhere at eleko.
Na such supermarkets, when they make it private, Nigerians will come out to shout foreigners are stopping them from entering. When you enter and see what you cannot afford nko? Na to de take picture come de post online.

It is not your favourite as long as you are in naija, you can't afford it so rest.

Just talked about the nutritional value. If you don't like it, none of my biz.
You go and form big boys to small kids like you littered here, have no time for this.

I love bread but I will rather use the 20k to buy 2 full chicken, fresh one for that matter and enjoy myself instead of bread that is 95% carbohydrate.

The hell is a brioche loaf?

I did spend 13k for a loaf last year when I found myself really craving bread. I don't eat the regular bread because of gluten issues, so I had to find someone who bakes using gluten-free flour. Price must have gone up now - with all the crazy inflation.

I wouldn't be surprised he has never tested it before.

Hey,

N20,000 for ordinary bread irrespective of the brand is way too high.

Do you know that bread is just like an appetizer for men? As for me, once I eat bread, it would seem I've not eaten anything yet...That's why I prefer swallow with nice soup filled with condiments.

I believe it's only women and children that loves bread.

That cash is enough to buy like N3000 food in a fast food, N2000 for two bottles of chilled beer, N2000 for short time with a babe, N2000 for data subscription, N4000 for transport fare for the week and the remaining cash to make soup with garri for the week.

Buying a loaf of bread for N20k is just to impress people but your budget and pocket go hear am.

Cheers!
I disagree with the bolded. It depends on what's in it. But if it's just for vanity, then it's not worth it.
