Giving out few tractors wouldn't solve anything,

I assume this is just a tip of the iceberg. Thomas Sankara invested a lot in the grassroot agriculture, amongst other great government policies and the set his nation on a good path before he was betrayed.

Get a transition committee in place, call for general election and let the country go back to civilian rule.
And return to the barracks

Let me ask: Do think it's impossible for a military ruler to deliver good governance?

⚡North Korea said its recent attempt to launch a new rocket, reportedly carrying its second military spy satellite, failed after an engine exploded midflight and crashed into the nearby water.

THIS is were Russia tech and expertise comes in

The north Korea Russia alliance, should not be allowed to flourish
Such partnership is dangerous to the peace and stability of the world

uranium is not bringing money like oil

As more nations start utilizing nuclear reactor to generate electricity in the future, it will bring fortunes. It's long game.

Remember that nations with oil reserves didn't see money until around 1940s.

Nothing good comes out of a military dictatorship.
The guy is young, can't even see him holding unto power in the next 5 years, coups leds to counter coups, and more instability and a new coup brings a New instability.
I think he as survived two coups now, what stopping the 3rd from being successful,

Must you insult, a powerful NK is not in anybody favour, China knows this, and thus have limited it's military cooperation with NK
Kim is too unstable, he shouldn't be allowed to attain certain military capabilities.

Civilian rule? How did the former civilian rule fare? The same Blaise Campore that was a Western puppet who orchestrated the assassination of Sankara?
Look, military rule truly isn't the best, but the case of Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Guinea Bissau is a case of necessary evil. These countries were ruled by very wicked civilian dictators, who were serving the interests of foreigners rather than their own country.
Little wonder the people aren't complaining of the military dictatorship, they're already used to civilian dictatorship. At least, the military has shown more patriotism than the puppet civilians...

Good leadership is the problem with those countries, not the system of government.

A good civilian government is better than military rule

Russia will build a small nuclear power plant in Uzbekistan, the first such project in post-Soviet Central Asia, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said on Monday at a meeting with visiting Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The nuclear deal, if implemented, will showcase Russia's ability to export not only energy, but also high-tech products to new Asian markets.

Putin said Russia would put $400 million into a joint investment fund of $500 million to finance projects in Uzbekistan.

Mirziyoyev also said Tashkent was interested in buying more oil and gas from Russia, a reversal of decades-long practice where Moscow imported hydrocarbons from Central Asia.

The Uzbek president described Putin's visit as "historic".

"It heralds the beginning of a new age in the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance relations between our countries," he said.

Putin also called Tashkent Moscow's "strategic partner and reliable ally".

Was there no good leadership when Thomas Sankara was at the helms until the colonial masters now known as NATO/the west assassinated him?

Every good African leader is killed once they see that he's not doing their biddings.

We keep shying away from this truth and start saying "move on".

Go and verify, any country that is blessed with what the west want, they always want to decide who lead such a nation directly or indirectly.

Wailing like a typical American fan boy grin grin grin

To people like you, the u.s can put a million spy satellites in space and also choose to put nukes in space anytime they want because they are America and can do whatever they want because it is for their national interest. But North Korea cannot do the same for her national interest or national security?

Keep wailing because that same spy satellite will, in less than a month from now, be sent to space by uncle Soyuz.

Seems you want to get drained.

One thing I noticed so far, once you're living in the West, you're not allowed to say anything against them even if you're right so as not to get profiled.

Immigrants living in the West are so afraid to say anything against the west.

Just check where most of the pro west on this thread are stationed.

Is that freedom?

I don't troll anybody, like I said I have made a deliberate attempt to stop using insults, in fact I haven't insulted anyone for a while now,
even when others insulted me., my chats are public a careful look at them would clearly vindicated me. We both know it wasn't about being active on the thread, and also it wasn't about trolling, most people i engaged in this past two weeks were those who mentioned me.
