One reason why the Christian and Islamic religion thrives is because they were recorded in books.

What if African religion was recorded in books, with ancient prophets, prophesies, miracles, wisdom, history etc.

I dnt have a problem with foreign religions but it shouldn't be taken so fervently.

European religion also suffered because they weren't recorded in books.

Buddhism still thrives in the fareast because it was also recorded in books.

Christianity is not original European religion, they too abandoned their religion for Christianity but they don't take it so fervently.

I think that is how it should be practiced.

The fervent practice of these religions in Africa by the major tribes is antithetical.

It's basically wrong.

The major tribes in Africa are problematic

Yoruba claimed that their Main ancestors 'FELL DOWN from the SKY' and landed in present day South West.

In the Bible the Angel that fell down from heaven was the DEVIL.

This means that ..

SW is the headquarters of all the Devilish Angels expelled from heaven by GOD.

No wonder that region breeds alot of worthless beings..

Just an observation

There's an explanation for the Yoruba narrative that can be corrobated when you correlate it with the sons of God that came down from heaven to meet daughters of men narrative in the Jewish torah,it requires deep understanding and should not call for mockery.

I will create a thread on that soon.

The Yoruba narrative that stars that their god came down from heaven and created their worthless region..

Two different facts..

Okay so this seems like a very interesting topic so I will like to drop a few cents of minei have. You see I believe history of almost 2000 years old Africa is hidden somewhere.
Just like the old Mayan cities lost for centuries or like the great Egyptian empire where old relics and treasures that document past historical events and prophesies.

Most of these I believe if I may add my ideas might be hidden in Africa mostly I believe Nigeria all over nigeria but we lack the technology to advance on such.

I know we have lost treasures worth billions of $$$ yet to be discovered.
Past religions buried and preserved well hidden yet to be found.

I believe we will as time will tell only then will we find our true religion and forget about the so called white man religion inculcated in us by force.
Most people don't know that Africa is the birth of civilization from Africa all other nation and races evolved and dispersed all around the world.
If more archeological studies are done with the right funding, Nigeria or should I say Africa will not be the same again because only then will will know our true religions and callings

But you forget, they birth ,ancient warriors, mighty men,men of reknown and giants.

The Oduduwa, orunmila etc might actually be sons of these angels or the angels themselves

There's some evidence that the Yoruba narrative might actually be true

African religion is indeed recorded in books... books that are older than the bible, the quran or the torah...

pls educate yourself on the Egyptian Book of going forth by day aka The Book of the Dead.

So Olodum is now olodumare?

Tomorrow a person like you will say Michael Jackson was born in OYO/OSUN and his father relocated to America and married an American that gave birth to Michael Jackson.

This is the nonsense you will tell your children and they will open their mouth with confidence exposing why their parents are worthless twisters of historical facts..

You are shameless and represent a failed region .

You see how 'one RONU' loser above just claimed that the inscription on Michael Jacksons shirt is actually olodumare, shortened to Olodum.

Book of the dead etc is not African religion, weather you believe Egyptians were black or not is immaterial.

African religion is the religion of the African tribes as we know them, just as Islam is the religion of the Arabs and Christianity and Judaism birth from the Jews.not some fabled unrecognisable black Egyptians

Validated:

Those were the fathers of the giants. Bible recorded that they have been completely destroyed.
it requires deep understanding, there are some narratives that say the flood which was supposed to destroy them didn't completely destroy them all and not only Noahs family survived the floods.

These narratives say that these giants and mighty men actually escaped deep into AFRICA and the Americas living on hill tops and survived the floods, thus populating subsaharan Africa and the red indians who the narrative beliefs are not children of noah

Just imagine..anyway

No problem...

as it's claimed civilization started from Egypt and it's a known fact that in NIGERIA, IGBOs are the only Tribe that have a writing format used even before the advent of English language or Arabic. Will you now agree that NSIBIDI, that was basically a SE and Southern Cameroon communication language, dating back 2000BC based on archeological finds, supports the notion that IGBOs and their kith and kin in that Region, are older than the Koran, Torah, and Bible?

Remember that the word 'CHI' in IGBo land represents God in different scenarios and most names are formulated from that premise.

In summation NSIBIDI proves that IGBOs are the most advanced, oldest and wiseest tribe in that configuration of failure called NIGERIA.

It’s so unfortunate, normally, it’s very easy to see someone’s ignorance from afar because it stinks like shitt.
See as you made so much noise here, when they said the loudest noise is made from the most empty barrel, it’s no joke.
You are so ignorant of Yoruba, the heritage and culture and that’s why you are so filled with hatred and poison for one of the most beautiful and celebrated culture in the world.
Next time before you embarrass yourself on public forum, a simple google search will help you hide your illiteracy and ignorance.

Ignorance is a disaster. And when someone is ignorant and doesn’t know he’s ignorant , the person is worse than a baboon in human skin because the person has no hope. Your next life, you should be reincarnated as a pig. It would be better rather than disgracing humanity.
Just a simple google search would have saved you your embarrassment.
You don’t know anything about us the Yorubas, you don’t know anything about our culture and heritage.
I will keep this screenshot for a long time to remind people that want to swear to engage you that they are arguing with a pig like creature from the gutter

The igbos do not own or create nsibidi,it's an ekoi creation totally devoid of Igbo influence, the Igbo merely adopted and copied from it.

The band’s first LP was called “Egito, Madagascar” and was recorded in 1987, and became famous with the song “Faraó, Divindade do Egito”. The idea of this LP was to honor the roots of the group and show to the country "Mamma Africa," and to show, too, how the group was born (from the drums to the influences of African Gods).

last time i checked Egypt was indeed in Africa... so the BOOK OF THE DEAD is an African book about African religion, written more than 2000 years before any of the so called bible, quran and torah were written.
