This is a nice development. Although 60-75MW is too small for any state, not to talk of Lagos. |

yeman05: You are only being bitter it is not in the SE this is mentioned. Its so simple. Did the staff working on rail projects in Lagos state complain they are being paid? Is it you who have been sourcing for equipment for them? You can't even hide your bitterness. See you disgracing your education instead of just walking past. When sourcing for equipment to work become a problem for a company being contracted to do a job? Does Julius Berger explain its not able to source equipment after collecting money to do a project? Use your brain and not only your hands/mouth. 4 Likes |

MaryWilbur: Is Lagos, since Tinubu became Governor and for 25 years, a State you can accuse of being among those that do “empty propaganda” ? Or has Lagos proven, time and time again, over decades, she is the exemplary and undisputed leader who deserves respect for all that has being delivered and achieved since our current democracy began in 1999? While many have failed with white Elephants like Tinapa etal Lagos has developed superlative and even first of it’s kind in Africa/West Africa project like Eko Atlantic and the metro rail respectively. The LFTZ, Lekki Port and International Airport, for those aware of their transformational significance for African commerce and trade , is another stunner. I have deliberately mentioned projects to match or better those of the highest standards anywhere in Africa let alone the many smaller projects Lagos has delivered her fellow Nigerian states cannot dream of delivering. Lagos is 100% proven and verified. She is the only State in Nigeria where projects once conceived, and however big or challenging, are always delivered . 5 Likes 1 Share |

Omg! Thanks for your reply. I was about typing the same reply. I wonder why most people in Nigeria hardly read or listen to news. It's also good to inform everyone that Lagos state has several waste recycling companies all over the 27 or 28 LGAs. I am aware of Olusosun at Ojota and this recycling company has been functioning over two decade now. I think they also have another at Igando axis or so , also Surulere etc....and all these companies recycle Lagos state waste into raw materials for some specific companies in Lagos. People should make research and get the truth. TK9680: 2 Likes |

slimfit1: Agreed it is late. No wahala. The last best time to do a thing was yesterday, the next best time is today. So what are we talking about. This is a government that has broken several records in many developmental strides. Please what has your own state governor come up with. I mean significantly. Let's compare note. You people are just so full of negative Energies. 3 Likes |

Nice one. But we all know that generator business must still strive. Dangote fuel cannot just go to waste like that. Stable electricity will still be rocket science I'm this country for a long time to come. |

Lanrelagboi: Other state governments and their ignorant citizens should continue to blame federal government for their woes while the politicians continue to embezzle their money. Lagos will soon secede from Nigeria because our way of thinking and doing things are different from others. 3 Likes |

Good one Like I have always been in support that olusosun dustbin land can generate electricity that will cover the whole of ikeja and it's environment. Thank God it's coming to reality (We submit proposal they won't sign and it fly because we don't know person or have the money to get through What a country) |

They won't sign it because there was no enabling law to back the actual project. I always tell people that innovation goes way beyond the actual project, you also have to research on the overall ecosystem including the current status of the relevant legal framework. Your good and progressive thinking is appreciated but you are definitely not the first person to mention or write proposal on Olusosun waste and power generation. Frank Olize dedicated an episode of his report show on NTA to this over 25 years ago. Walz001: |
