As a northerner, I must protest the lack of federal character and quota system I'm this list above.

Good one for the Nigerian youths.

This reminds me of the time I lead my undergraduate team to win one Middle East and Africa ICT award like that (out of the five region of the world that participated) when in the University; I could not contain my joy that day the result came. I was jumping up and shouting at the top of my voice uncontrollable.

...Our names are still on Nairaland posted by people.

"….tagged Connection, Glory and Future."

The only time you hear Nigerians winning the future is in another man’s land. While in their own country, they fight tooth & nail to sell their futures to kleptocratic old men. cool

The federal character and quota system are killing our economy, and they should be stopped using them.

For example, a student from the west or south with 250 JAMB scores is struggling to gain admission to our universities, whereas his counterpart in the north with less than 180 scores will easily gain admission.

This quota system is old, and nowhere in the modern world is this system being practiced.

They call us miscreants but we are winning international laurels from abroad. See why it is important to build schools unlike some people's Messaih that couldn't build 1 school in 8years.

Nice but let us not learn to be half clever

They have smart people in their country too .
Those they send to these competitions are not necessarily their brightest and best

They just use these tricks t steal your smart people

It is not by winning competition but monetizing your talent for YOURSELF and YOUR COUNTRY

Not ending up as another employee for a CHINESE BILLIONAIRE in a CHINESE COMPANY

The Chinese mindset is China First. They are not competitive by nature if that competition places the individual first

The whole aim of schemes like these is to get the brightest people from anywhere into THEIR ECONOMY

Just like the Americans have always done

Do not be fooled that there is any competition for fun

Truth if the USA is as divided as Nigeria is with all their ethnic groups and let it affect their societal leaders they will still be struggling to attain even 50 percent of what they have today.
