It would take extreme naivety for one to think that the grudge between the north and the east can be undone by boreholes. I've come to realize that most Nigerians are not even aware of the issues. In a divided country, you wiped out all the top cultural, religious, political and military leaders of a single region in one night and you don't understand that you sowed deep roots of hatred for generations to come?
