Please how did you go about the consent form for your daughter

I didn't do the consent form because both parents are travelling with the minor, they reviewed and told me to send the documents via DHL.

I guess if only one parent is travelling with the minor then a consent form is required.

Honestly it is not stated, but have as much as you can and state how you earn it (salary, business etc) you can even show landed properties if you have.

Duration of trip also will determine how much you should have in your account, shorter trip kinda less and vice versa.

Cheapest tickets nowadays is above 2.5m per person now multiply that by number of people going on the trip. Then you budget accommodation, feeding etc.

You have to also factor in exchange rate.

You also have to show you have enough available balance in your account when you come back from the trip.

TAAG Angola is cheaper and without complications even for heavily pregnant women
I flew taag Angola to Sao Paulo now. Their Coordination is okay. However, when we got to Brazil the police told all the Nigerian guys before me to step aside for further scrutiny after collecting their passports. But, mine was stamped quickly. The lady only asked me where I am heading to.

Good evening guys, Please guys is one way ticket advisable to fly into brazil or it has to be a return ticket

For tourist visa, the standard is that you have a return ticket anywhere in the world, Brazil inclusive.

Dem no know am oh or don't process it for Nigerians....I sent a million and one emails and they kept referring to it as Work Visa. I had to give up.

You can only apply for Nomad visa when you’re already in the country 👌Fica com Deus!

It depends on what dAte you indicated as your travel date. Lol. They will update your Visa maybe 1 week, or even 3 days before your travel date. Experienced this 3 times with all the people I applied for, but now I am a resident holder… scared I’ll not apply anymore. Lol . My mother’s Visa came out a day, before the travel date we indicated (thank God ticket we booked wasn’t paid for).

Dear Nairalanders.
My travel date is in 2 days time and I'm yet to hear from the embassy. I have sent them emails but did not get a response. Anyone experience this?

I experienced something similar, don't worry it will drop anytime soon. Hope you haven't paid for your flight ticket or accommodation.

Yes, I did. The only bad review I’ll give is lack of entertainment on board but you can only worry about that if you’re traveling with kids. But it’s not that bad, because everyone will sleep off eventually .
The layover time is much better now, it’s just 6 hours. Last year when I flew with TAAG we had 19hrs layover at Luanda.
Apart from that, everything else is good.

Thank you for your response @Newboy1102.
I have not paid for flight, but the accommodation booking would automatically debit my card by tomorrow.
The organisers in Brazil emailed them yesterday and they replied that the application is still in process. Will my visiting the consulate in-person to nudge them change anything?
Thanks

I'm enjoying my stay. Yet to meet any Nigerian but I met an Angolan and three other Moroccans. A Brazilian guy that stays in the same building with me took me round the town via metro and paid the bills lol. Make sure you have a translator on your phone to help you communicate easily.

I don't think you could just walk into the consulate without any appointment. Just be patient and wait for their decision.

Hello guys, how do I go about my documents? I am already in Brazil, but the documents (birth certificates, marriage certificate and police CC) were not authenticated at the Brazilian embassy, they were only legalised at ministry of foreign affairs. What to do? I am applying for the permanent residency.

I’m not sure you can still edit your submission once the processing has commenced but you may wish to try. Also for tourism visas, they may still issue after your date has passed knowing that you can always reschedule your trip.
I’m my own case, I’m going for a conference starting on Monday.

They say Brazilians are so nice that they would leave what they are doing to help a total stranger, I never knew their niceness reach this level.
