So will a scammer willingly contact you and then proceed to truthfully tell you his location?

Which stolen goods? Did they steal anything from you and your ancestors? Did the person you are stealing from steal from you?

Keep attracting curses upon yourself by stealing from the innocent. God will not be mocked.

Shut up! You are going to church everyday speaking jargons in the name of speaking in tongue. Your brains have been stolen by the white and you donā€™t even have respect for your own culture anymore. You worship a dead fvking white man and you think they didnā€™t steal enough from you. You live in a country that has been divided and conquered by religion. So shut up madam and respect yourself as the slave of the white you are

They deserve joy scamming the elderly and the vulnerable in the society.

Wicked idiots.

No wonder the young people are dying faster than the old people in this country.

See them committing suicide at will because of the evil they have done to others.

The person may not even be from Uganda or Nigeria....this is the internet. Anyone can be anything.

They will never stop. You can see how joyful they were about it and even sending a mail to claim responsible and further draw more undue attention to Nigerians. It's just that the non-scamming Nigerians are.mostly likely the ones to bear this brunt.

The person is based in Nigeria but he wrote in Uganadan language and these idiots called him Nigerian. I've said it here before that many Africans when caught in crimes especially fraud claim to be Nigerians just to spite us. As long as the name Nigeria is always associated with scam, why not save our country's good name and destroy Nigeria's name patapata. God will punish them.

Itā€™s obvious you are a naive little kid to ask if they stole from my ancestors!

What scamming process is more pronounced than colonization and slave trade? The impact of which will forever be eternal.

Inasmuch I never wrote people should continue to scam others, I only emphasized the origin of SCAM should be retraced and compensations should be continuously made. ā€˜You gave someone a piece of mirror for gold/human slavesā€™ Isnā€™t that the peak of scam? Yet they mostly portray Africans that scam for peanuts as the origin of scam!

If you can read through lines, just pass by and donā€™t be rude when quoting others.

The article says the person ā€œbasedā€ in Nigeria. OP says ā€œNigerianā€ scammer. Is everyone based in Nigeria a Nigerian?

Thereā€™s nothing in the article that proves the scammer is from Nigeria or a Nigerian.
Thank you an intelligent comment I ve been looking for.
And then again which Tribe in Nigeria speaks LUGANDA? When we ve over 500+ language an average Nigerian is yet to understand? grin funny though

This is all shade of wrong to smear our Nigerian-ess

A Nigerian scammer writing in Uganda language? seems fake!
Luganda and any other Uganda languages are not spoken in Nigeria.

Stop justifying your stealing ways with this nonsense you wrote.

Thief like you.

Your ancestors didn't enslave other villages.

Go and look for legitimate work and stop damaging the reputation of innocent Nigerians like us with your scamming ways trying to use "colonialism"&"slavery" to justify your scams.

I didn't see anywhere the person claimed to be a Nigerian.

He wrote in Luganda... A language spoken by Ugandans.

God bless you brother.

You said exactly whats on my mind.

No body is even seeing it from the angle that these other African countries are doing their very best to tarnish the image of Nigeria.

NO NIGERIAN SCAMMER WILL WASTE HIS TIME WRITING TO NEWYORK TAMES FOR WHATEVER REASON. NIGERIANS DON'T SCAM FOR GLORY. NIGERIANS SCAM FOR THE MONEY.

That kind of scam is too amateur for a Nigerian to play. Kenya and South Africans should stop tarnishing our image.

If the scammer was Nigerian, heā€™d have succeeded before boasting. People donā€™t celebrate failure in Nigeria (aside the Ronuites & BATerias), when from birth you have been taught that "nearly does not kill a bird." cool

It seems fake, I don't believe the scam is being orchestrated by a Nigerian, may be some fraudster syndicates that want to divert investigation attention to Nigeria.

Nigerians are only taking money from them.

These same people calling us scammers used to come and take human beings from us as slaves.

Just Imagine if we went to America today and captured 500 white people as slaves to come and work on our farms fro "FREE"

This hypocrisy of calling Nigerians scammers need to stop.

Especially from slave owners.

Not only funny but stupid too. Why should the scam write to a newspaper, telling them where he is? The scammer just want to send FBI on a goose chase
