Ohanaeze Ndigbo President General, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyawu, has recounted his visit to IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, at DSS Headquarters Abuja, on 30th of May. Iwuanyawu said he met with Kanu and talked at length. Iwuanyawu said that IPOB has denied involvement in violence, and that whatever insecurity in the East is criminality and not agitation. He said that Nnamdi Kanu is sad and angry that some people may be hiding under agitation to commit criminal acts
He reiterated that Kanu is against the killing of Soldiers, enforcement of sit at home or denying children the opportunity to take exams.
Iwuanyawu said that if IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu were responsible for insecurity in the East, they would not enjoy the widespread support they have today in that area. Iwuanyawu said that Nnamdi Kanu is a manifestation of the discrimination against Igbo people in Nigeria. He reminded the reporters that some Yorubas are asking for Oduduwa Republic, some Ijaws are asking for a seperate country, some Northerners are doing the same, so agitation to leave Nigeria is nothing new. He called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu through a political process
He reiterated that the only way to solve the problem of Nigeria is to restructure the country and give powers back to the federating units so everyone can develop according to their talent. He said that the constitution has given whoever is President of Nigeria too much powers he or she shouldn't have. He ended by saying that if Nigeria refuses to restructure, nothing will change.
Federal Government has withdrawn terrorism charges slammed against the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore leader, Bello Bodejo accused of forming and arming a vigilante group in Nasarawa State. This same Federal Government finds it difficult to set free Nnamdi Kalu who was brought back to Nigeria from Kenya through irregular rendition and whom law court of competent jurisdiction has discharged and acquitted. This is injustice and is reprehensible.
I couldn't hear any of the so called igbo leaders condemn the Atrocities committed in the south east. They will only come to.Lagod shouting marginalization
mrvitalis: Ohaneze and South East Governors are always reactive they are never proactive
They are responsible for the issue we have in the South East 100% their inactions
Because they promised them president
What would happen if ohaneze lead protest in the South East with all igbo governors calling for kanus release at least that would send a message that leadership of the igbo nation want kanu released
I blame kanu for even agreeing to see them
Little wonder they keep losing trust of the people to ipob
Tag Ikenga Ugochinyere. That strength he uses in Rivers State should be refocused on issues affecting South East.
PeterObi4LP: Children of hate come out food don land to hate on the prosperious and hard working people of the South East. Like I said, I married from the East, Enugu and my daughter must marry Igbo man.
This one just set his wife up for drags on top Nairaland likes.
So you married wawa Ibo. Atleast better than abakeleke or or the other outcaste ones 🤣
Repeating the same line over and over again.Nigeria is a failed state, is that the reason ipob killed those two young Igbo officers on duty just to prove Nigeria is a failed state?
2 out of 5 killed were Igbos. Since they choose to join the army. It's a natural thing. How many Igbo soldiers have died in Borno? At least you won't cry they are killing other tribes. So why are you still crying? Because we know you don't love the Igbos, Why are you crying if not blackmail?

You don't know anything do you? I am from Abia state so I am a stakeholder in this discusion. Those killed are my people and they do not deserve to die simply because they are in Nigeria army. Why should you kill somebody to mourn somebody that died in the past? If you are doubting my Abianess bring someone from Bende LGA for confirmation.

Especially hope Uzodimma is responsible for everything happening to MNK
jmoore: Always behaving like ndi egbuwara isi. One minute you are indirectly praising the terrorists, next minute you are posting Nnamdi's disapproval of forceful enforcement of sit at home.
Stay one place so that egbe eluigwe can strike you very well.
Who's the terrorists and where did Iwu praise them?
Krankhead: I couldn't hear any of the so called igbo leaders condemn the Atrocities committed in the south east. They will only come to.Lagod shouting marginalization
So you did not hear official statement of Gov Hope Uzodimma who is the political leader of southeast as chairman SE governors forum?

This minute you are here praising the nonsense government and the other minute you are forming a patriot of ndi nke anyi
Stop behaving like ndi ode Mmanu of ihu abuo
Stay one place and take to task of what you are there for
It's was the real OHANAEZE led by iwuanyanwu that released the nonsensical statement praising Tinubu. It was a rogue faction masqueraded by the rogue isiguzoro That seat is for you to represent and voice out for us, not doing like onye mma ihu abuo when you are not onye ofe Mmanu
gidgiddy you support and justify criminal activities of ESN in the name of agitation after all Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world right and one of the most terrorised nation on earth so ala Igbo suppose to burn according to you. . Did you know that the two soldiers killed by Nnamdi Kanu boys yesterday are Igbo soldiers from Abia state?
Among the Soldiers K!lled in Aba yesterday are from Abia State .
Staff Sergeant Charles Ugochukwu who has spent 30Years in Service is from Ugwunagbo While Corporal Ikpeama Ikechukwu who has spent 11years in Service is from OBINGWA all in Abia State
They were k!lled at the Obikabia Junction Aba by Unknown Gunmen who came with two Flashy Cars.
You were rejoicing since yesterday that ESN killed Nigeria soldiers now it turn out that the victims are actually Igbo boys from Abia state. Shame on you and your ipob.Do you fight poverty by enforcing people to sit at home, who does that?
Are they not Nigerian Soldiers? Your mindset is different from typical Igbos.
That is to tell you they are not tribal like you but fighting for self emancipation.
Which stupid self emancipation is that? Why not kpai yourself in the name of self emancipation. Go to the families of the victims and tell them you killed their sons for self emancipation and receive flowers from them.
Are they not Nigerian Soldiers? Your mindset is different from typical Igbos.
And so what? Why should they be killed unprovoked? They did not attack anyone just sitting at their duty post. Well I am not a typical Igbo..I am Igboman.

Shame and hypocrisy. In one breadth you rejoice soldiers are killed in another you are begging/scheming the leader of the soldiers to release "your man". Where is your honor? Justice must be done!

Then who deserve to die? What about the innocent civilians those armies have wasted unnecessary. When army kills innocent people, it's a mistake. If the army wants sympathy and cooperation they should start acting professionally.

Did army attacked anyone yesterday? You are talking like a terrorist. Those that were killed was sitting at their duty post. Now innocent people will suffer the consequence of IPOB stupidity.
Alexis11: Many WAEC candidates in South East said they missed their Mathematics exams yesterday due to fear of UGM yet this man, Obi and Ezekwesilly refused to make one comment about the whole situation.
I am very sure they will all find there voices the day Lagos State Government will announce that a particular Igbo dominated market in Lagos should not open their shop for few hours to carry out cleaning and environmental sanitation.
Where will a cesspit waec to you to? Is your cesspit degree accepted overseas? So why bother with your cesspit waec exam when you can have a far much better standard of education in Biafra?

We have been suffering the consequences since, not today, not yesterday since 1967. The truth is Nobody is backing down. I use to say it here. The Igbos and fulani are opposite sides of same coin. Nigeria hates us, and we will reciprocate.
