We have not heard about ballot box snatching, or threats from thugs to opposition voters to go back to their region to vote

Nigerians are also law abiding when it comes to electoral voting. Just somebody want to win an election at all cost either by grabbing or propaganda. Buying candidates and a whole electoral empire is not a joke faa...Jaga I hail thee grin

The same whites who left behind a bankrupt, pariah state because they didn't understand democratic principles? They're holding her up exactly like how a black government rescued the SA economy back from the brink in 1994 and brought SA back at the top table of nations - only African country in the BRICS and G20. During white rule SA was an African North Korea.

But i see you're a white worshipper - even openly begging to be recolonized 😂👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

You don't know what you are talking about.

30 years of ANC (black) rule has destroyed S.Africa.

Under the whites, S. Africa had a formidable military, they were even about to go Nuclear.
Their medical training is topnotch.
They have world class universities and infrastructure.

All these are going down the drain now.

Or which of the above did the blacks contribute to?
Don't let us deceive ourselves abeg.

I know the apartheid regime was repressive and oppressive to black South Africans, I do know that, but still, while the white South Africans were practicing apartheid they were busy building solid national foundation, systems and structures in place that South Africa developed on when Mandela finally came on board.

Bra, leave ego aside, without white South Africans, South Africa would have been like Sudan, at best it will be like Zimbabwe and the likes.

You black South Africans don't know what White South Africans did for you guys.

Some of the international systems and platforms and opportunities you guys are enjoying in South Africa are allowed in SA by other Western worlds and white dominated countries simply because of their fellow indigenous white South Africans in SA, not for you blacks.

You guys won't understand anyway

See what hatred for your president, bitterness cos your preferred candidate lost an election and chronic inferiority complex have done to you. See how you are denigrating your country, your president and your fellow blacks just because you want to lick the ass of the white.

You are a disgrace to Nigeria and an even bigger disgrace to the black race. Please, in your next post, remove Nigeria from your lips and go by your tribe. We know the people with this unusual high level inferiority complex, hate and bitterness

No wonder they're traveling the globe looking for investors whereas the ones already on ground dey japa to Ghana.

As long as the crop of crooks we call leaders are still there, Nigeria will always be going backwards.

It's easy to understand why blacks were easily sold off to slave traders by fellow blacks.

In the 60's and 70's, an era of a booming world economy, a few animalistic individuals making up fifteen percent of the population, stood on the collective mineral wealth of an entire nation, affording luxuries while segregating the majority to poverty and hardship, and yet you give them praise of advancement...

If you can't see that the entire SA is now dependent on what a few whites held as their entitlement then you have no business on this topic

what is it to comprehend from your drivel ?
two things ultimately stand out though
..
1. A deep-rooted envy of South Africans
2. An acute inferiority complex towards white people (which is something you Nigerians always try to project onto us)

the rest
Garbage!
it hurts to see outsiders belittle Nigeria as a whole, thanks to some unpatriotic elements from a side of the country, look at the slowpoke insulting his president and calling him unprintable names on a public forum all because thier preferred candidate failed to win an election, he even went ahead and called him a druggie, yet him and his kinsmen are the same set of people always responsible for selling and dealing drugs overseas. Only a section of Nigeria envy you guys please.

LOL..you're writing a whole bible for a response because I pointed out an obvious truth.? You lots are jealous of everything South African and that's your cross to bear. All your daily insults towards us reek of jealousy and bitterness. South Africa is what Nigeria will never be in the next 1000 years!!

deal with it!! it's about time

We are only jealous of the fact that your white citizens are kerping your country with good governance which is the only demerit we have in Nigeria and it pains us that your black SAs are not utilizing that's opportunity at all. Only if we can get half of the good governance you people enjoy, Nigeria will be the world power, no caps!

As South Africa celebrates 30 years of democracy, and citizens headed to the polls on Wednesday, there were numerous images of citizens uniting to cast their vote in the elections.

Amidst reports of long queues and inordinate waiting time, one special image emerged from the Durban City Hall voting station.

A picture captured on the day shows two young gentlemen helping an elderly lady up the steps at City Hall, quite literally demonstrating what the ‘new South Africa’ is meant to be all about.

High voter turnout

IEC’s KwaZulu-Natal electoral officer Ntombifuthi Masinga has notably stated that although the Electoral Commission was “sufficiently resourced” it did not anticipate the sudden surge of voter turnout after lunch on Wednesday.

He also touched on the fact that some voters went home after standing in the queues for too long, and who will not be able to vote in the 2024 general elections if they missed out on Wednesday.

“There is only one voting day in South Africa, outside of the special votes.”

In terms of the overall picture at 13:00 on Thursday, only 4,502 of 23,293 voting districts have completed counting (19.33%) with a total of 2,064,033 votes counted.

The ANC leads the way with 877 935 votes (43.10%), followed by the DA (508 529 votes for 24.97%) with the EFF in third (177 868 votes at 8.73%).

As votes continue to be counted around the country, it will certainly be interesting to note that the ruling ANC could lose an outright majority vote.

The final result is expected over the weekend.
Back again, are you? Why can't you go post your pictures in a south african forum?

See ehn the person who gave them the title "headless mob" really described them perfectly, let's even compare, how do you rate the electoral outing of a man who has been looking to be president for over 20 years, building connections and making friends across the country to someone who only woke up 7months to election and decided he wanted to run for president and expect him to win? Even his VP candidate didn't even win his local government talk more of his state. And you know the funniest thing a whole lot of them didn't go out to vote on the day of election, some don't even have a voters card. Truly they deserve the title "HEADLESS MOB"
