Instead of state policing, they should just have it at the regional level
Like amotekun is suppose to be at the regional level
With this, one governor won't have all right on police because that's my fear
Imagine wike having right to entire police 😂😂
Blood go flow like river

Governors are too powerful, that's why they are even fighting against LG autonomy. Until we find a way to reduce Governors powers, make police stay with FG.

I've actually seen someone who joined cult in his 400l. Even though he wasn't rusticated sha, but imagine if someone like that gets caught up in a cult clash where lives are lost and he somehow he gets arrested and expelled. Where FG wan take collect the money they paid on his head till date?

Actually I think it is. We all have BVN. People who thought they took anchor loan or wetin call were shocked when money was withdrawn from their account. Once you have a BVN, I don't think you can get away like that. And the fg will probably add some sort of school fees clearance like NYSC certificate.

Imho, student loans will drastically reduce the number of people who have no business being in university. Free / subsidised education unfortunately has meant a school to cult pipeline where people with no actual academic ambition enter uni with sole aim of being in cult.

Have always wanted everyman for himself
Let's have 4 major rulers, each state governors will be under them while emilokan remains the overall head
Disband all these useless ministers and house of reps, the governors will take over their positions
Disband senate president, vice president they are all useless
President
Regional rulers(North, South ,East ,West)
Governors

That's all everyone will sit up, no more miss management of funds
I support. It will lead to healthy competitions, less tribalism and less political crisis. If Tinubu does this I will forgive all his sins.

There are some arguments that you should not bother engaging in.

Raumdeuter, airmark and Oasis007 will never not support APC, and they will never understand the present situation of the country because they don't live it every day.
Larride does, and even though he's a card-carrying APC member, his opinions are more balanced because e dey feel the heat day by day.

Just don't worry yourself my G. There's no point.

How you guys hurriedly jump into conclusion, is shocking.

Was I for PDP when I strongly condemned the handling of Endsars by Sanwoolu and Buhari?

So because I am against that packaged scam, Obi, it means I belong to Apc, right?

This is Obainojazz below, when I was defending the right course - condemning Buhari's action back then. But now, the same Obainojazz is behaving like those Buhari's supporters, as Obi supporter now.

Most Nigerians are self-centered and tribalistic and you guys have shown it in this section.

If the regional division can work then the governors hand will be full because they will be reporting to the regional leaders while the leaders report to the president

If it's regional it'd probably be 6, but I want devolution down to the state level, with LGA autonomy existing even at the state level.
Agreed totally.

Why is this so difficult?

If it's to pass nonsense bill NASS will do it within a week. Useless idiots 🥶

Someone who said he did it deliberately as a snide way of pointing fingers at the British, and their inability to adapt to the languages of the colonies, which led to them forcing some of these words and spellings on said colonies.

But I no dey argue today. I'm trying to think of how to get home safe from the hospital when I'm seeing helicopters and trucks of armed men on the road. I never marry yet and I'm an only son.

What of Olaudah Equiano, the first known Igbo man who spelt it as Eboe grin grin grin

But you did not hesitate to include Obi as soon as he was mentioned even though you claim your original post had nothing to do with him. We know what we're doing. cheesy

Well, Raumdeuter had a valid point and because Obi is god to some people, it wouldn't stop me from replying and air my view on his shocking silence on the killing.

The point is, did I ask Raumdeuter to include Obi in his reply to my post?

Is Peter Obi the president?

If you are comparing anyone to Buhari's supporters, it's those who are supporting Tinubu today despite all the hardship and poor policies.

Wait o, the idea of regional government means we will have regional premiers and a Prime Minister/President with a parliament whichever way they want to go.

The premiers will be the one overseeing the regions, there wont be Governors again. Abi what form of regionalism are you looking at?

So you allowed Raumdeuter that doesn't have his wife in the SE stuck with IPOB miscreants to draw your attention away from the person (BAT) that you ought to be calling and directing your anger towards? It seems you're more interested in dragging Obi than in directing your energy towards a BAT that can do something about the situation.

NASS already pass LG financial autonomy during Buhari tenure, the bill was rejected at the State house of Assembly.

The way constitution amendment work, after the NASS pass the bill, 2/3 of the 36 states House of Assembly must also assent to the bill before it can be sent to the President for assent and become an amendment to the constitution.

The Governors are not ready to give LG any financial autonomy so they just use their state house of Assembly to block the bill.

President
Regional leaders
Governors

Remove those ministers, house of nonsense all of them down to state level
The governors will start getting busy because they won't have commissioners doing their jobs not like they are really doing anything
They should report to their regional leader while the leaders report to president
Remove Senate President and VP too
Let everyone work for their damn money

The power is in the hand of the lawmakers and the North has an overwhelming advantage.

They think they are at a disadvantage because their political leaders are very lazy and visionless. (Its not as if the southern one are any better anyways).

Which of them is it, ethnic-related violence or party-related violence? It seems what Sodik and BluRay are saying is different from what you're saying...they're bringing evidence of people that were prevented from voting because of their tribe, and you're bringing evidence of people that were prevented from voting because of their party affiliation...violence is violence, but it's good to make that distinction.

None of them have been able to prove ethnic related violence. They posted 2 people 1 Ibo man and 1 Bayelsa man. Another person said a Yoruba lady

The common thing they all have from evidence is they were suspected LP voters. The same way suspected APC voters were attacked in the East

Na each state know why dem open University and they should be able to fund it and not depend on FG

Even if we are going back to regional govt, there will still be a form of representation of the people called Parliament. The people must have local leaders to represent them.

But your idea makes sense
