A draft document for the reintroduction of regional system in Nigeria has been circulating online (see pictures below). Who would you pick to lead your region if the bill is actually introduced and if it is signed into law by October 1st, 2024.

(All lists compiled by Imran Muhammad).

How on earth will you listed those that responsible for our retrogression as Nigeria as regional leaders? Does it make sense to you?

I would rather pick a stone than anyone from present political group.

And to answer your question, I will say Omoyele Sowore.

Even upon the regional something, some people just can't look away from our side and allow our 'unanimous' choice stand. On one hand, you say we are bigots because we largely went for Obi in our homes. It is still the same mouth you are using to say we won't go for him.

Dem do you, onye mba? 🤣🤣
You must be as foolish as mr Vitalis who has no atom of sense.. So to you everyone who doesn't accept obi is yoruba.. You must be delusional.. You can choose obi to lead u in Anambra after u complained the first time, that is no problem.. But obi is coming no where near imo state we have better people than the fraud. Deal with it

For South-east we should be looking at list that will have the likes of
Peter Obi
Kingsley Moghalu
Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe

The Truth is that's when the real power broker from each region will surface and show their real face and everyone will be shocked to realize that those we are shouting up and down are mere stooge.

They might still be from existing politician.

Godswill wetin I prefer Donald duke, amaechi even Adams oshiomole to akpabio, most importantly we don't have to elect anyone of these expired politicians, we can look for new patriotic leaders to lead each region.

You are very right. My choices were made from the options provided. If it were to be my personal preference, then only Zulum will make that list.

I refuse to believe that all these people cannot read. I suspect that they planned to attack this thread by posting things that are at variance with what is written on the thread and they plan to just keep repeating the same thing over and over.

You are wasting your time. You deceive yourself too much. Regional govt under military govt? grin Biko, go and count sand.

Are you normal? There was regional government system when Aguiyi Ironsi was killed. Ironsi merely took up some power from the regions to stop Arewa from imminent secession from Nigeria. Arewa never knew there was crude oil in the south then.

For example; Ironsi was killed with the military governor of Western region because the military gov refused the villainous soldiers of Arewa to kill Ironsi.

Sadly, you chose the wrong state to claim. I am from Imo State, ala Mbaise to be precise. I schooled in Anambra State University, during which Obi came onboard as governor. After university education, I shuttled between Imo and Abia per job stuff. I attest to his great works and I speak for Imo when I say Obi is the foremost leader in the entire South East.

How come you didn't include the master strategist on the list?

You don't want Tinubu to rule your South West region but he is your preferred choice for Nigeria, right?

Damned hypocrite.

As someone rightly said above u, common sense should dictate to you that Tinubu cannot be d president and be a regional leader at the same time. Anyways, I don't blame u. Always looking for cheap points to score without thinking through. Tinubu is still 10x better than your so called Regional leaders. Choke on that.
