No electoral violence?

No Oluomo boys to decide who should not vote?
Forget how highly educated we are, We are not civilised in how we conduct ourselves

See a good example of election without violence or electoral issues....we still have a long way to go

They ought to hold the woman very tight and with utmost respect because if not for white South Africans, South Africa would have been worst than Sudan and Somali.

I just wished Nigeria's Calabar, Plateau, Enugu and Osun were made up of indigenous white Nigerians, they would have helped to build Nigeria through competent judiciary, security and technology and we wouldn't have have a drug lord and looting machine become our President angry

what is it to comprehend from your drivel ?
two things ultimately stand out though
..
1. A deep-rooted envy of South Africans
2. An acute inferiority complex towards white people (which is something you Nigerians always try to project onto us)

the rest
Garbage!

Envy lazy South Africans? You need psychiatric evaluation.

Do you know what Nigerians do with your ladies? Have your friends, families and relatives not cried to you that Nigerians have snatched their girlfriends and wives?

The same whites who left behind a bankrupt, pariah state because they didn't understand democratic principles? They're holding her up exactly like how a black government rescued the SA economy back from the brink in 1994 and brought SA back at the top table of nations - only African country in the BRICS and G20. During white rule SA was an African North Korea.

But i see you're a white worshipper - even openly begging to be recolonized 😂👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
what has your black leaders do differently, I hope you have had opportunities to visit most of African countries mostly dominated by blacks to see extremely poor governance there.....

As South Africa celebrates 30 years of democracy, and citizens headed to the polls on Wednesday, there were numerous images of citizens uniting to cast their vote in the elections.

Amidst reports of long queues and inordinate waiting time, one special image emerged from the Durban City Hall voting station.

A picture captured on the day shows two young gentlemen helping an elderly lady up the steps at City Hall, quite literally demonstrating what the ‘new South Africa’ is meant to be all about.

High voter turnout

IEC’s KwaZulu-Natal electoral officer Ntombifuthi Masinga has notably stated that although the Electoral Commission was “sufficiently resourced” it did not anticipate the sudden surge of voter turnout after lunch on Wednesday.

He also touched on the fact that some voters went home after standing in the queues for too long, and who will not be able to vote in the 2024 general elections if they missed out on Wednesday.

“There is only one voting day in South Africa, outside of the special votes.”

In terms of the overall picture at 13:00 on Thursday, only 4,502 of 23,293 voting districts have completed counting (19.33%) with a total of 2,064,033 votes counted.

The ANC leads the way with 877 935 votes (43.10%), followed by the DA (508 529 votes for 24.97%) with the EFF in third (177 868 votes at 8.73%).

As votes continue to be counted around the country, it will certainly be interesting to note that the ruling ANC could lose an outright majority vote.

The final result is expected over the weekend.

That was how we all turned out...and then...Nigeria happened to us

Bro, not only disrespectful but shortsighted and dumb. I was listening to Ndlozi speaking just a day before the elections, and you could tell they were beginning to backtrack on their pro-immigrant policies because they could see it's doing them no favours, but it's just too late

It has nothing to do with immigration policies. MK party took all the votes meant for them

Do you perhaps reside in South Africa? do you hear daily conversations among South Africans to gauge an overall sentiment? I'm on the ground bro, you rely on TV.

Malema's utterances on immigrants are the sole biggest reason why they did badly..and why others jumped ship to the MK trust me

Majority of black men have an overbloated ego issue which makes him not to accept and acknowledge his weakness yet he continues to fail as a result of same weakness he refused to accept and improve on.

They feel because they are created with same number of legs, hands, eyes, tongue, dick, etc with the white man, that makes them equal to the white man in leadership quality, wisdom, etc.

All humans are equal based on being humans but some humans are higher than others based on their naturally gifted super wisdom, intelligence, craftsmanship and other talents.

Ask these fools arguing with me why they are not famous singers like Michael Jackson, Davido, Wizkid, Drake, etc. it's about talent, if you don't have it, you don't have it.

Same way children of same age will be put in one classroom and teacher will teach and you ask them questions based on same things teacher taught them and some won't remember any while one or two will remember virtually all. It's not the kid's fault, it's natural gift at work.

Some humans take long to understand things while some understand even before you finish.

This is the same thing at play between the white Caucasians and other races, especially blacks.

White South Africans built the system, the leadership structure, the foundation, the institutions and stayed back to ensure blacks didn't destroy those institutions with their corruption, disorganization, backward culture, tribalism and discrimination.

Mandela only built on the structures and systems put in place by the white South Africans and white people around the world continued to favor South Africa in many ways just because of their white brothers who have become indigenous in South Africa.

Something is wrong with the black man, may be evolution will correct it in the future but right now, we are not any where close to the white man standard. No white man will allow Emilokan to buy all arms of government with money

What a powerful remix of history.

That you pretend that the economic problem of SA back then was due to the mismanagement of the economy by the whites and not due to global sanctions based on Apartheid is quite disingenuous. Same outcome with white SA government until Mandela give it legitimacy

Perhaps if it was 200 yrs ago or you were talking to a bunch of teenagers - you would have gotten away with it, but many of us were alive.
L

Didn't Zimbabwe also fall under global sanctions rather than mismanagement? But you'll be the first to condemn them as black mismanagement.

Funny thread.

Nigerians do hate one another. They demonstrate this on the streets and on this platform every single day but they suddenly want to form a "united front" in a pointless online feud with South Africans (or African Americans depending on which day of the week it is). A patriotism of convenience. cheesy

Nigerians on this thread are angry that South Africans are not 'using their opportunities'. grin Nigerians are on other threads complaining that African Americans are also not 'taking their opportunities'. cheesy
Nigerians are furious that Europeans and Asians are...you guessed it...'not taking their opportunities'. Nigerians are everywhere offering unsolicited advice to others on how they should run their lives. Why don't Nigerians focus on their own country and ask why it doesn't give Nigerians opportunities? undecided

Get it together and there won't be time to wonder what South Africans or African Americans or whoever are doing.
