Bobloco: There is no way government can pay labour 615,000 naira as minimum wage. You guys want to turn Nigeria to Zimbabwe? Don't bastardized our naira. Secondly, ipob should get ready for the impending disasters coming their ways. Ipob terrorists must be eliminated 2 Likes 1 Share |

Anything less than than 100k minimum wage is wickedness. The least healthy meal cost 1000 per plate. Three sq meal is 3000 per day. That's 90k per month. Tfarr no dey dia, rent, nepa bill, airtime no de dia So you can all see, except the FG don't expect workers to eat three sq meal per day 24 Likes |

Backbone of the economy indeed!!! In fact Nigeria workers are the destroyers of the economy in conjunction with the politicians. Go to any ministry in Lagos or Abuja, from the gateman to the top, you must ' shake' body. Some will even hide the files until you drop something tangible. They are traders!!! 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Jagabanarmy: I agree with you totally. But NASS can increase their budgetary allocation by over 300% within the last 8 years while minimum wage has remained at 30k in the last 6 years. You are right actually. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

"The labour leadership specifically noted that no governor was present at the meeting, just as ministers were absent except the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, who doubles as a conciliator." Oookey! No transportation tip from Tinubu. Na now I understand why they want to go on strike. |

Hope when Federal government approves the minimum wage, the Labour will also ensure State government does same. Otherwise, what is the need for the state civil servants to suffer the effects of this strike that won't benefit them 7 Likes 1 Share |
