Lagos Stops 25% Rebate On Bus, Ferry, Train Fares by adenigga(m): 5:41pm On Jun 02
The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority says the 25 per cent rebate on fares for regulated public bus, ferry and train services ends on Sunday.

LAMATA made this known on its official X handle.

β€œFrom June 3, fares on all regulated transport services in the state will return to the original 100 per cent,” it said.

Recall that Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Feb. 23, announced a 25 per cent rebate on the fares to mitigate the impact of the removal of petrol subsidy on Lagos residents.

We're they suppose to last forever or you just want to expose your foolishness to the hole world. I heard Abia is ruled by Labour, same labour that want minimum wage of ₦494,000 yet the state can not pay the old minimum wage of ₦30,000 ?

If that is not the height of madness I wonder what it is.

You are just being mischievous because I don't understand the reason you are dragging Alex Otti and the Labour Party, who just took over the reign of government about a year ago in Abia State, for not paying the 30k minimum wage, but left out Ikpeazu and the PDP, who were in power in 2019 when it was signed into law.Β

Well, in case you are not aware, Alex Otti has promised to pay the new minimum wage currently being negotiated immediately after it is signed into law.

Leave Alex Otti and labour alone; go and tell Tinubu to negotiate a living wage for Nigerian workers and stop haggling it like market women haggling over the price of crayfish.

You'll suffer like computer village thieves for being stupid enough to vote along tribal and religious lines and you'll find no respite or sympathy, at least for another three years.
