ASUP Declares Indefinite Strike by Schorlashipreg: 12:06pm On Jun 02
The Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress have jointly directed all its affiliates embark on an indefinite strike from Monday, June 2024 following the non- conclusion of an agreement -with government on the new National Minimu wage.

Consequently, as an affiliate of Nigeria Labour Congress, all members of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) are hereby directed to comply fully with the directive effective from Monday June 3rd, 2024.

Members will be updated as further development unfolds.

That's it. You removed subsidy,your increased electricity bill,you introduced my taxes,your float the naira,and yet you claim you don't have money? Ok where was the 15 billion they used to renovate VP's office from? What about the 5b yacht? This strike is long overdue,I pray NLC does not console it overnight

Don't let our government deceive you. There's no money but they are ready to do anything to remain in power.. unless you are a gullible Nigerian , that's when you support this wickedness

once brown envelope changes hands,the strike will be called off as soon as it starts.tinubu is aware of that and he is an expert when it comes to brown envelope matters.

Yes.

Maybe everybody has already received their brown envelopes. All this is shakara so it is not obvious when the envelope exchanged hands.

Are you a member of ASUP, these are lecturers, not just entire polytechnic. They have ASUP and NASUP.
