Obaofaba:
100k minimum or the strike hold.

This people wants to kill everyone with hunger.

Tinubu, you promised living wage but delivering unprecedented poverty of all time to Nigerians.

I didn't vote for you to kill Nigerians.

It shows you voted for tribalism and not competency, against your inner discerning mind. Your inner mind knows he's a failure yet you went ahead. Shãme on u.
You shouldn't be complaining make thunder no fire u

Tinubu was never and is never a mistake, I didn't vote for him but I salute his courage to remove fuel subsidy and float the Naira. This is a decision President Jonathan wanted to take but he made a U-turn when people started criticising, the same thing people want President Tinubu to do now which is not the best. Maintaining Fuel Subsidy and Keeping a false dollar to Naira rate will only make the country bleed to death when our children take over. NLC calling for a strike at this point will only increase the sufferings as commodities will further increase. The union leaders have stock piled their homes with dues from union members. WHERE WILL THE COMMON MAN ON THE STREET GET MONEY TO STOCK PILE.... Instead of strike, NLC should return to the negotiating table, it is preposterous to demand for a minimum wage of over 400k, the Federal Government can pay but what about the states and small CEO's like us how will we pay such an amount. This is why I support full privatisation of all major sectors of our economy. How much do some civil service offices generate for the government, what value do some of them add.... I was in a government office the other day and I was told to wait that the are praying, haba... During working hours? THE STRIKE WILL ONLY INCREASE THE HARDSHIP especially if Government also decides to be stubborn.... Nobody has a monopoly of being stubborn, every one should sheath their swords of threat and return to negotiate. IT IS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY AT THIS POINT ESPECIALLY AS THE TRIPARTITE COMMITTEE WHICH THE ORGANISED LABOUR IS PART OF IS YET TO COME UP WITH A FINAL WAGE AWARD.... If Federal Government decides to also be stubborn the masses will be at the receiving end.... Negotiations is better than Ego Tripping..

Your brand of foolishness must be hereditary.

If you like have 500 children, your employer does not owe any responsibility to you, your wife or children especially when it is not stated in your pay package..

As you are entitled to have as many children as you desire so are you entitled to suffer the consequences of not being able to provide for them.

Now this does not mean the government should not pay a fair an acceptable wage.

Joesno:

Give a breakdown of how the 60k will be spent in a month for a family of 6.. Stupid government, earning in millions for looting billions but wants to pay peanuts to workers

Stupidity is you quoting me without a valid basis of y d government should not offer more than the proposed minimum wage of 60k but rather decided to show ur ignorance..
A man wit a wife n 4 kids is a family of wat? Or are u saying he doesn't deserve 4 kids because he is a minimum wage earner?

Hunger dey oo
I dey complain but if u see some pple own ehh

Atleast 180k per-month will be Fine
That was why labour asked them to list how they'd spend the money if they were level 1 worker and they refused. Imo it's better they return fuel to #90 then pay 30k cos I never see this type of hardship

The people representing FG in the negotiation obviously want this strike to happen. FG already paying more than 60k monthly for their staff and they are telling NLC/TUC to accept 60k minimum wage.

People are the reason government exist, our leaders should always listen to the yearning and aspirations of the people

Yes my person. I heard you loud and clear. It must go ahead. Government does not exist in a vacuum. It's people's oriented. But this government is too anti-people. The new electricity tariff must be reversed. Let us all join NLC for maximum result.
