As a bachelor I Just strolled out of my street to go get bean because the last basket I bought March has finished.

Madam give me beans..

She replied how many cups I say 4 hoping I might cook 2 and use the remaining later this week..if I haven't gone to market then.

I paid gave her 1k hoping to get change... But to my surprise she was asking for additional 600.

Meaning 1 cup was #400.

I stood there and didn't know when I burst out laugh. A Cold laugh
I couldn't cry, I laughed because I was shocked beyond words.

Before the year ends death toll might rise in this country due to starvation. And no one is really saying something about this outrightly.
Why can't we call for help from ecowas and un intervention now that some of us are still alive.

If I a bachelor financialy okay is complaining this way. what about those with multitude of mouths to feed.
I can't just help to imagine what's going on in some home's right now.

The above phrase and its other variants are over used and misleading.

Why do you think NLC and other unions are going on strike?

Is it today we all started complaining about the hike in the price of staples?

No mind me o, I just dey vex. People keep saying that phrase and it’s annoying, especially when it involves matters that we all speak about daily

Economics is different from politics , someone is a good politician doesn’t mean he’s a good leader , politics is all about lies and propaganda, leadership is honesty and selflessness . Think about this when next you vote ….

If u have 4 kids, your wife/husband to feed or to take care of, my brother get ready. Talkless of those men who married 5 to 6 wives boasting around. Tinubu has already started humbling you all. This is even a joke. Wait for him to enter in 2027. Na Super shege una go see. grin

Which beans are you buying as a Congo (9-10 tin cups) is now 3500 in the market for Oloyin beans. Probably you are buying white beans as not all beans are the same.

People struggle to feed twice a day. There's nothing left to save for raining days as everyday now comes with uncertainty. There's nothing like cheaper alternative from garri to fufu, beans to rice, yam to potatoes, amala to semo, custard to pap, it's all expensive. There's starvation everywhere! Funny enough some people are still playing the tribal cards and politics when every new dawn in this country is far becoming a nightmare. People are already dropping dead due to starvation. We are in a war situation. This is famine and if care is not taken, many will die of hunger and starvation.

.

Nobody will die bro, Nigerians will find a way.
Who will call for the intervention? They have been doing that. But when they get the funds, they pocket it. Only the death of Nigeria can cure it.

When a man's health gets to a point doctors can do any better, death is the only thing that can ease the man's pains. Nigeria is there now. And the people don't want real change, they are only hoping the wind of corruption will blow some goodies their way.

His musketeers will soon advise you get a small piece of land and plant beans, rice, palm oil, ground nut oil, seasoning and other essentials.

If it's possible some of them will even want you to manufacture your own car, TV, phones, brush and every other thing else.

This is exactly the question am asking myself, I stayed alone, in fact am the lastborn, meaning I don't give anybody money but am complaining bitterly about the price of things, I wonder how married men or people who feed multiple mouths are surviving.

May almighty God bless all the responsible married men and women and God bless me too.
