As we all know that the end justify the means. Strike has began, what are we expecting NLC to settle for, is it #150,000; #250,000 or #450,000? 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰 What is your take? |

kolaide: To be realistic.. #100,000 should be a good achievement... Anything above that, then we should be expecting the return of many more states to be owing workers. The Governors are the real enemies of the masses. 2 Likes |

Inflation increased by almost 400%, if I say the govt should pay NLC #200k I will still be in tune with reality but we know the govt of Tinubulation won't do that, so I will stand will NLC if they can dash the govt 50k to continue to pay for the propaganda of good governance and then manage remaining #150k for now #150k or nothing! 2 Likes |

seanfer:What are they doing with the fuel subsidy recovered funds? They should channel half of the 1trillion they claimed to be saving from fuel sunsidy to the minimum wage. After all their children don't survive on minimum wages. 1 Like |

keep saying that subsidy removal without making preparation for the after effects to the economy was a very bad omen. Goodluck Jonathan had suggested subsidy removal, but was about making preparations for the after effects so that the economy will not be this damaged. Peter Obi had suggested the same subsidy removal but with plans to implement economic policies that will check or reduce the effects to it minimal. It takes only educated minds to think that way. Buhari was not educated enough to rule. Tinubu is not educacated enough to rule, infact he forged his certificate. How then can any such uneducated person like Tinubu perform miracle? The Yoruba people knows these problem yet they pushed the both dullards into power due to tribalism. Yemi Osibanjo was more equipped educationally. Even if it was Babatunde Fashiola or even Ambode that they had presented and supported to contest for presidency as educated minds from the south west, atleast the general election would have been free and fair. But coming out to support an illiterate in mind and certificate forger ancestor called Tinubu all because he is yoruba elder statesman? It is so absurd. It is inconsiderate, irresponsible and unreasonable. Someone like Prof Wole Soyinka who would have known better, is now being stupified by Tribalism. Una go hear am too now Nonsense 1 Like |

seanfer:so the only reason for removing fuel sunsidy was to increase allocations to State governors when it's obvious those monies will be looted by them as usual? By the Way what is the percentage increase on these allocations cos that's not the promise they made before removing scam subsidy ? |

N100k, but if the labour unions can hold out for a N120k agreement, it would be a great accomplishment. Labour must not accept anything less than N100k. A country that can spend N90b on pilgrimage, knowing well that it is broke, should not be pitied in any way. Let the payment make the country so broke that it would get its priorities right. 1 Like |

For me increasing wages is just a joke.. Give workers free access to Silver Package HMO Give workers free education to Secondary School level Give workers low cost housing estate for civil servants This should be the demand of NLC/TUC from all tiers of government. Not minimum wage that forces of supplies and demands will render useless once it is approved. 😔 |

kolaide:The thing is their wage demand are unrealistic. The government could easily give them with one hand, collect it with another. I'd prefer a mass action against general standard of living, and then force them to reduce their jumbo packages. We can have these with a right leader. You can't force a bad leader to do a good thing. 1 Like |
