‘Things Are Hard' - Pastor Adeboye Says by Omooba77: 12:23pm On Jun 03
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on Nigerians facing hard times to call on God for help.

Adeboye speaking yesterday at the June thanksgiving service with the theme: ‘Lifter Up of My Head’, held at the Church’s National headquarters, Throne of Grace (TOG) Ebute-Metta, said things were hard for some individuals.

Speaking at the service with special prayers for all civil servants, workers in private sectors, youths, corps members, self-employed, unemployed and their families, he partly stated:

“…If you need provision, if things are hard and I know things are hard for quite a few of us, call on the one whose name is Jehovah El-Shaddai, the God who is more than enough…

Call on Him – the one who is more than enough and He will meet your needs…He has many ways, depending on what is your need. When all ways are blocked, call on Him who is called the way when you don’t even know what’s going on.”

While speaking with newsmen, Pastor-in-charge of the RCCG National Headquarters, Adebayo Adeyemo, who gave an update on the church’s empowerment programme, said 1000 persons recently benefited from the vocational skills training and are already producing what they learnt.

It's intentional. It's gonna get darkest before it gets better. So when things get better the people don't easily get carried away but remember how hard it was previously.

Though not by man's power but God.

God bless.

Ah Ah!

They should sow a seed and pay tithe to the daddy GO grin

Tell them it is because they are robbing God that they are suffering.

Blackmail them with Malachi 3: 8 - 10 and watch the gullible sheep obey grin

This man is old and infirm and also suffering from dementia. If you stay close to him, tell him to call his brother Tinubu out for his bad policies, not that imaginary god.

Nigerians have been calling god from time immemorial, all to no avail.

When Pastor needs a car, they will tell congregation to contribute
When congregation is broke, they will tell them to call on God

Same man led a one million man march against Jonathan. But has been silent since APC got to power. Will instead call for more prayer and more tithe.

Old hypocrite. Making people lose their faith. Which will never come back.

Why can't you provide some palliatives with their tithes and offerings? grin grin

When it's time of hardship, call on God but when there is plenty, bring your tithes. Heck, you are still collecting tithes from them even in this hard time.

I tap into your blessings Sir...

When others are saying there is a casting down...

I will confess that there is a lifting up.. cheesy

I went to the market on Sunday. I saw the hardship...but it shall end in praise for all who believe in God.
