This bank has been having issues for over one year and it was so difficult for me to withdraw my funds. Their mobile app stopped working to limit withdrawals as the bank was surely in distress. Whenever I visit the branch to complain I always meet people with similar or worse complaints. This is a good move by the CBN to prevent the erstwhile Management of the Bank from further receiving funds from Nigerians.

NDIC had taken over the bank yesterday and their primary is to ensure that customers are able to repatriate their funds.

Try and be smart and read to understand. NdIC and CBN are not paying the customers in full, and he is saying that actions like that can destabilise the economy by sending the wrong message leading to fear of people keeping their funds in the banks, also considering that some depositors of Heritage bank are SME businesses it can have a negative impact.
