It is the average Nigerians masses that will be suffering the effects of the strike, not the FG and others. No electricity, who is suffering for it; the masses
Decline in econony activities
Scarcity of transportation, e.t.c

Or pay the 60k but with the following allowances :
1. Health allowance 10k
2. Hardship allowance 10k
3. Transportation allowance 20k
4. Food allowance 20k
5. Holiday allowance 20k
6. Fuel subsidy removal allowance 10k

We are all Nigerians nobody is better than another. We deserve fair treatment

You guys are protesting for the wrong things

What we need is for labour to protest about what the Senators and members of government earn as allowances

It is the redistribution of that money that will enable government pay whatever workers want as minimum wage

Otherwise, they will keep claiming they can't afford the minimum wage and playing the workers ojoro.

Unfortunately, our labour leaders lack sincerity of purpose.

I honestly don't know why some folks here derive pleasure in people suffering. You celebrated when Emefielle made Naira scarce because it helped your useless candidate. You celebrated this strike too despite mostly affecting average Nigerians. You better check yourselves to asylums. Mad people.

I tell you my brother.. its just insane!

Labor is fighting for their pockets.
What about you
Only fools will join labor strike action.
Will government pay you salary also?
You are a fool for partaking in any labor strike.
Labor can go to hell.
The public will not see N1 from the government except labor people only.
Labor is making life harder for me and you.
Please think again.
All these year that you foolishly joing labor strikes, how much did government pay you??
It is only the labor people that enjoys the money.

I commend labor leaders for not given it blanket suspension, at least if government is serious, they must come up with something tangible with these five days, because they pleaded that discussion should continue in the next five days.

Good one ☝️, at least the government already knows that they’re serious this time and if nothing is done, it might get worse than this… Right step in the right direction. Let’s see what will come out of their negotiations within the 5 days suspension

lol…at least they meant business this time

It's not that they meant business this time. Rather, it's bcoz the course is in the interest of all workers.

When the issue you're fighting for concerned all workers and Nigerians, it will be successful bcoz everybody will comply.

But if it's about slapping Ajaero in Imo State for fishing in the political waters of the state, I don't know how that affects me in Lagos.

Labor is greedy and very unrealistic.
The county is in huge debts.
Nigerian government can not pay 100,000 as minimum wage.
The country will die off.

NIGERIAN ECONOMY CAN'T TAKE CARE OF SENATORS AND THE EXPENSIVE PRESIDENTIAL SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT
ANY

By suspending the strike, the unions may be indicating that they are willing to engage in further negotiations with the government to reach a mutually acceptable agreement, with putting Nigerian's to more hardship,
This could lead to a resolution that benefits will all.

However, the suspension of the strike may not yield anything, because the government might not listen to them, more over the strike does not affect them as much as it does to ordinary citizens and the underlying issues may still not be addressed.
The government and the unions may need to continue negotiations to find a lasting solution to the disputes.
