The question is what is pushing ETERNA and how far can it go compared to OANDO? smiley

mikeapollo:

But Eterna must be doing same or even better than Oando.

I sent you mail.
Can't lay hands on your post with which you tagged me on VFDGROUP.

That Big for nothing Elephant should cover its face in shame.

Don't balme the Elephant o! There are rumours that Heritage Bank owes the Elephant over NGN400 Billion. This excludes the over NGN40 Billion one of its employees misappropriated recently.

The shareholders of the Elephant need to request for major changes in its risk operations across all its business units.

I would still be watchful because whenever the Government says something, the opposite dey come to fruition. No be so dem tell us say there is no petrol subsidy.

Does Unity Bank still have its negative shareholders' funds valuation? lipsrsealed

To what extent has it been reduced and by what safety margin are they expected to attain to keep staying afloat?

What about the proposed acquisition by Providus Bank Limited because the transaction between Titan Trust Bank Limited and UBN PLC comes to mind and should still be a point of reference?

Any thing can slip to any number. If or when they do, will you buy or will you wait for further slips?

...One thing I've learnt in the market over the years is not to say NEVER! None of the us, retail traders/investors do not control the market, we can only use our best judgment to forecast price movements. So, those prices mentioned are probable for the stocks to reach.

Having said that, looking at the charts, these are the prices I will forecast for the stocks to get to (bad case scenarios):

- Zenith: 27 - 28.50
- UBA: 15.60 - 18
- ACCESS: 14.50 - 16.40

Nice range. I will be happy to see more zenith and uba at that price. I don't have time for access. The same reason I will do away with fbn when I see another opportunity

Mr Slips will Oliver twist for more slips. grin

And he will get it, because of the dilutive effect on existing shares, of recapitalising the mega Banks to N500b minimum capital base.

Imagine all the new shares that will be created to raise money.
Outstanding Shares will balloon out, crushing eps, and Market will right-price accordingly.

I could be missing something.

More shares, more capital and most probably increased income for efficient managers (in the short-medium term).
Income would most probably grow faster than the increase in shares outstanding, given the prevailing high costs of borrowing.

Just thinking aloud sha.

Sure you will end up with a stronger, better bank .
But in the immediate term your portfolio will have to survive all the hard things happening to it like dilution, shares reconstruction etc especially if you're a short termer.

The like of uba, zenith and gtb with the increased os with still make heavy profits to support the os.The owners of this banks have perfected the act of making profits from Nigerian. And this banks won't be coming for PO rather different right issues. The ceos willi want to retain thr controlling interest. Bigger money means Bigger investment in different sectors as holding company. Time will prove who is right. I will make sure I take up all my rights in the 3 banks
