Nigerian soldiers have been shamefully reduced to nothingness. Imagine a Lieutenant in the Army being killed like a beggarly roadside misfit by a bunch of touts with pocket knives. A complete waste of all the resources put into his training and commissioning as an Officer in the Defence Academy. Na for harmless civilians you go see them dey raise shoulders.

Point of correction. Kaduna Central Market is not close to Ungwan Sarki.Ungwan Sarki is basically a motor park....so many hoodlums loitering around that place.Dangerous even in day time.

Same difference. The most recent state in Nigeria where something like this happened as well, didn't have the markets that were shut down close to Obikabia junction either. Guess it's just modus operandi.

That's why it's amusing when some foolish people on Nairaland after watching a lot of TV claim a murder scene is staged as a suicide. The window of getting caught is so slim, you want to get out of there as fast as possible.

I can see you're stylishly making reference to the army's comment when 17 soldiers were massacred in Okuama. This is a general crime which can happen to anyone whether civilian or military, so nothing can be done to "retaliate" unless they want to investigate and arrest the person who did it...

According to reports, suspected phone snatchers have murdered a Nigerian soldier, identified as Lt. IM Abubakar in Kaduna State.

It was learnt that the incident happened in the Unguwan Sarki area of the state on Tuesday afternoon, June 4, 2024.
