This post made me research Manitoba PNP, but I am ineligible because I have no connection to the province.

Thank you though, I will start looking at other provinces.

If you don't have a relative in Manitoba your chances are zero.
I think the PNP route favours people who have relatives. Although i may be wrong

You shouldn't be tired of waiting, you need to keep looking for other options and see how you can meet up with their requirements whilst also looking at the healthcare category option. There is nothing guaranteed with Express Entry.

Jordyntimi:
Hello everyone a quick one pls, have ircc scrapped healthcare draw, have been waiting for this draw for over 3months. Any one over here waiting for one of the category based draw?? I’m tired of waiting honestly.

Ehn! Evaluated already?

Yes. I was surprised

When I paid, I uploaded my Bsc certificate and my IJMB certificate, so immediately unilorin sent in the transcript, they confirmed immediately and same day I receive an email that all required documents were complete

I guess that helped

How now? You want to use 2FA for IRCC. I suggest you claim one of the experiences.

Last year I worked as a healthcare assistant and also a web writer for a media house. I handled both because the content can be scheduled. Both are full time job. While the web writing paid into my account, the healthcare paid me in cash.

So I wanted to claim the two jobs but it seems I can't.

if I can't then I can just leave the web writing experience

For general draws the highest scores will be picked first. For category based draws, the highest scores will also be picked but this is different because based on the category, the scores can be lower compared to the general draws. Eg general draws cut off (ie the last score picked) can be 520 but a category based draw like French can have a cut-off score of 350. I hope this helps

i dont think you got her question. she is saying, if a draw is for example 400-480 and someone scored above 480, will that person be picked. becfause there have been some cases where people smashed the score, and yet people with lower score were picked

Hello everyone,
Please I have been trying to see if the message has been answered on this forum to avoid repetition but cannot find anything related.

QUESTION
I work irregular hours, e.g sometimes it’s 25hours, 20 hours per week or maximum 30 hours per week. My work hour varies.
And my payslip only states total hours worked monthly. when I filled the express entry profile, I put in 30 hours weekly, cause I didn’t even know which hours to put.
But my hours if calculated will make up more than 1560 hours.
Please who can kindly shed more light on this.

You can as well try using your BVN to register.
If the mail you used on BVN too is not accessible, you can easily change that at your bank

Staness:
Good day,
Please I am trying to register for my PCC online, but I don’t have access to the email captured on my NIN, the email update I did on my bvn is not reflecting. I am not seeing any steps online as to how I can update email on Nin, I have contacted NIMC, no response. Please what other alternatives can I use to procure my PCC .. Kindly advise

They’ve received mine since 28 of last month though and the status reads, in progress.

It's PPPRRRRR

ITA: Feb 14 healthcare draw
AOR: March 13
BIL/MIL: April 17
Gave Biometrics: April 19
Medical passed: April 24
No update until today
FD and Passport request: June 6.

We tried in the year 2019/2020 sitting in the pool with 466 crs. Couldn't get ITA and COVID also damaged things. By the time IRCC started draws after COVID, we had lost significant points due to age. IELTS also expired. We sha packed our bags and enter UK early 2021.

Then IRCC introduced category based draws. Second chance at Canada leyi ooo. So we started again. Had to write ielts 3 times unfortunately. Each time, I am 0.5 short in either listening or writing. I wrote the final one on February 10 2024. Got my CBT results on February 13 with LRWS 9,8,7,7.5. I updated my profile immediately and my score jumped to 440 from 384. The next day, February 14, IRCC did healthcare draw and boom our ITA.

Hang in there everyone. Yours on the way.

I’m currently applying for PR, the problem I currently have is that, I chose legally separated as my status for my application, so I submitted an affidavit of separation with my application. However IRCC started requesting for a divorce certificate. Meanwhile I just started the divorce process. I was given 60days which is about to expire and I’m yet to complete the process. I need advice on next step to take.

same thing I thought. Just claim relevant experience and others should go to personal history

My wife and I got married (traditionally) in January 2022. And we have a baby together (my son is 8 months old). So we want to have our court wedding this month, however her international passport shows her maiden name. I have some questions:

1. Should she do a newspaper publication of change of name, as well as swear an affidavit, before or after the court wedding?

2. Does she need to do a change of name on her passport after our court wedding? We do not want problems at the embassy. Please, I need answers. It is urgent.

Change of name is not compulsory. If you choose to change, then it's after "court wedding"

Put it clear bros...

The answer is: if cutoff is 400-480 in a category based draw, as per PNP, you won't receive ITA if your score is 481..... simple!

Good afternoon everyone,

Pls is it possible for the principal applicant to enter the pool alone and later add dependants after the principal applicant has gotten ITA?

Is this possible? Wouldn't they ask why he did not enter the pool with his dependants? 😁

but that is not fair to people who studied hard to make sure they exceedingly pass, why should they pick people with low score over people with high score, but that aside, please concerning this new caregiver pilot scheme they are about to roll out, do you have an idea when they will roll it out, also, i know that having a job offer is one of the prerequisite for getting the visa, but how do people find job offer? any input please.

are you sure of this, so you mean they have stopped conducting draws for french, healthcare, stem et al?
because with the looks of it, you might not be far from the truth, this one they have changed the names to VERSION1, i dont understand which one is version1 oh

but its very painful watching your chances go down the drain just because you passed above par. while someone who did not do as much as you get picked
