Should All Forms Of Cannabis Consumption Be Legalized? by M2525: 9:26pm On Jun 05
While many advocates of cannabis legalization support the availability of traditional forms such as dried flower and tinctures, some argue that the inclusion of edibles and concentrates raises significant concerns.

However, restricting access to these products not only limits consumer choice but also overlooks their potential benefits. By embracing a comprehensive approach to legalization, we can ensure safer consumption methods, promote responsible use, and unlock the full therapeutic potential of cannabis.

What are your thoughts on this?

the only reason medical marijuana is legal in so many countries today is because of the MONETARY GAIN (from taxes) by these governments, and certainly not because of its medical/health benefits...

so its either you make it legal because it helps people who are suffering OR you dont, and people will still use it regardless.

Hey, thanks for sharing your thoughts! You bring up an interesting point about the monetary gain for governments, and I agree that the economic aspect plays a significant role in the legalization debate. However, it's important to acknowledge that the medical and health benefits of cannabis are well-documented and have contributed to its acceptance.

For instance, studies have shown that cannabis can help with chronic pain, anxiety, and certain types of epilepsy. These therapeutic benefits shouldn't be overlooked just because there's also a financial incentive for legalization. Plus, by regulating the market, we can ensure product safety, accurate dosing, and consumer protection—something that's hard to achieve if cannabis remains illegal.

Also, it's worth noting that restricting forms like edibles and concentrates doesn't really stop their use; it just pushes them into the black market where there are no safety standards. Legalizing all forms can actually promote responsible use and allow for better education and harm reduction strategies.

What I personally believe is that a balanced approach that considers both the medical benefits and the economic impact could lead to a more informed and effective legalization policy.

Haha, I hear you! The "puff puff pass" lifestyle isn't going anywhere, that's for sure. But there's actually more to it than just getting high. Legalizing cannabis in all its forms could make it safer and more accessible for everyone.

the reality of the world we live in today is that many of these big pharma companies dont care about healing people, they only care about MAKING MONEY... same with these gov. so regardless of the health benefits, unless the gov makes money from it, its a lost cause.

the only reason medical marijuana has been accepted today is because these gov are making a shiit ton of money from it... and certainly not because it helps people. they knew for decades about the healing powers of marijuana, but they didnt know how to monetize it because anyone can grow weed in their backyard, thus why it was made illegal for decades.

the issue they all have today is HOW TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN PEOPLE WHO SMOKE FOR PLEASURE OF GETTING HIGH AND THOSE WHO SMOKE FOR HEALTH REASONS... thus why they are pushing for CBD oils and derivatives (aka no high from it) rather than just marijuana etc
but the reality is that, how you want to dictate how people take their marijuana?

Differentiating between recreational and medical use is definitely a challenge.

It should be legalized to stop people going to prison unfairly. Criminals prefer other drugs to get high off before committing felonies.
